I was going through Instagram when I saw one post showing the new line of succession. I’m not one to read comments, but I did knowing all the comments will be sweet bc of the new baby (stupid me). There was one comment asking why Harry is 6th in line to the throne and the person is mad because Harry’s children will never be king or queen (also asking why William and his children are!). This made me realise of the fact that most haters aren’t just really aware w/ what’s happening in that family.

There’s a big chunk of Harry and Meghan’s fans who have absolutely no idea how royalty works and have no interest in finding out. Like I actually saw a post saying it was racist that they aren’t supposed to call Meghan Princess Meghan. Like…no. Lots of people are new to the fandom and we all had to learn, but those who are closed off to the possibility of ever learning annoy the hell out of me. It’s really bad on IG. Some of these people have around 20,000 followers but don’t actually know anything about royalty. They just post pretty pictures
