Until recently, I would agree that PH looked smug whenever he stepped out with M. However, imo, that smugness is being replaced by increasing uncomfortableness. Also, it appears that he often looks around to see how people are responding to them, especially to her. Yesterday, TM wasn’t the only one giving them/M looks.
