Is there a reason why KP and the british press are not best buddies right now?

I think the New York Times article does a good job of explaining it. It’s also important to remember that Arthur Edwards is the single most respected royal photographer in the country. He’s so well regarded by the royal family that Kate and William have singled him out twice when they’ve come out with their babies. So for him to speak to the press and say something critical of the royals is a big big deal. 

There’s always a love-hate relationship between the UK press and the royal family though. Nothing new.
