Which do you think it is, Plant? Do you think she randomly chooses an outfit without thinking about the event, or does she think about the event and deliberately chooses something that will be inappropriate? I thought she looked good today for another, different, event. And she should have padded the front of her dress to tamp down the permanent high beams. Instead she wants to emphasize them, with the tight top and her posture. Harry is also clearly trying not to hold hands with her, but she keeps doing it. Pretty certain he told her to put her dress back on her shoulders in the carriage at Trooping, too, but she refused. In one shot, he’s looking at her shoulders in dismay and she looks absolutely stubborn, looking straight ahead with her chin in the air. Tungsten seems to have problems with rules and authority, which could be why the Suits people were so frustrated with her as well.
Thanks for sending this in!. I suspect she doesn’t have the “feel” for this kind of events. When you’ve attended weddings and funerals your entire life (even as a member of the middle and/or upper classes) you have a feel for what is and isn’t appropriate. Ditto if you’ve been watching these events on television all your life.
Meghan hasn’t done that. She was raised in a hippie household and likely never attended formal events. This was probably her first baby christening EVER. it was definitely her first military event. The Spencer wedding was her first country wedding. She just doesn’t have a feel for it.
