The whole French couture thing is EXACTLY what Fergie did. Diana always supported British designers so F said she turned to French designers to avoid the comparison. Except she ran up massive debts doing it. Most of it was super dreadful 80’s ugliness. History really is repeating itself. Except now, she’s either merching or wasting PC’s money.
