I just had a thought.. Just rewind your brain cells and go through how MUCH has happened since Catherine went on ML!!! Like holy fuckty fuck!!! Now when she returns, almost ANY criticism against her, or her work ethic, leaves, wardrobe etc have already been discussed and done and dusted by now!! She can easily just breeze in and start her work. Louis’ timing was complete genius!!

I know I bitch about the long maternity leave (by US standards, I know), but it really is well planned. She bookended it with a royal wedding and ToC/AirForce appearances in May/June and she’ll come back in October to Eugenie’s wedding and a diplomatic reception. It subtly, but effectively, puts her in a completely different level than Meghan.
