Wow. The whole Gert’s situation has turned into a shitstorm on twitter. That’s some rabid chewing going on. Her fans should all have some sort of official red/orange twitter tickbox (like official accounts do). They attack people when Meg’s doing bad, they attack people when Meg’s doing okay, they attack people when Meg’s not doing anything. They just attack EVERYONE. Cheesus. What is wrong with them? Aren’t they all supposed to have PhDs in crossmulticulturalfuckery or something?
What Gert’s did is standard operating procedure for royal engagements. They always mention that other royals also visited and supported. Heck, sometimes they go back to the Diana years or even young HM’s visits to show a constant stream of support. When Meghan and Harry went to the Mandela exhibit, they mentioned Charles’ visit with Mandela.
That’s the point of the royal family. It’s a team, or at least it used to be. I guess now that Meghan’s here it’s different.
