Can you make sense of Harry’s speech for me? Perhaps I was too tired to be watching it but it seemed quite self-serving and poorly written in parts, almost pitting the past generation of servicemen & women against this present one? And don’t even get me started on the shout-out to Meghan at the end.

Oh, KP tweeted a posed pic of Meghan watching him rehearse. I rolled my eyes so hard at that.

The games are all about Harry and Meghan now.

I don’t really get the speech either. It almost sounds like a goodbye speech, but there’s another Invictus in the Netherlands. This isn’t the last one.

I feel like they both now pivoting to “community building,” maybe that’s why he’s talking about the “Invictus family,” instead of, you know, actually mentioning the individual athletes and their stories.
