And yet MM’s stans don’t realize that she has to answer to the US IRS for her said “expensive wardrobe”. As a royal, she’s not allowed freebies but her assets may prove otherwise. She cannot claim they were gifts and if she did pay for it, from PC, they will be responsible for US taxes. This girl is “royally delusional” I’m thinking she can bat her eyes into not being able to account for all this money. So, her “5 mil” will be either used to make up for receipts and/or taxes. What excuses then?

There are some things mentioned in that tax article such as having to pay taxes on her engagement ring that are kind of sketchy. I really don’t believe she’ll ever have to pay taxes on her engagement ring even if it is “from a foreign person.” It’s a normal gift.

Some of the other things are harder to prove such as the clothing. If she got a “freebie” regarding her designer clothing but returned it after it was publicly worn, then that would also be harder to claim as income. The IRS isn’t going to pop over to Kensington Palace and verify what is and isn’t in Meg’s closet.

Yes, the article does a good job in pointing out that all of her income poses problems to the royal family, BUT the IRS doesn’t have any legal authority to audit in the UK. So, everything is harder to prove.

Usually as long as you file and your return doesn’t look unreasonable, the IRS isn’t going to come after you. The IRS is greatly understaffed right now. They’re not going to go after Meghan just because the Daily Mail published an article.

Anyone hoping for “receipts” regarding her taxes is going to be disappointed since the IRS always does things privately. IRS doesn’t leak things to the press. Articles arguing the theoretical, like this one, will be all you see.
