Dina, a Muslim woman: It’s so great to see positive coverage of Muslim women and see the recipes I grew up with in a cookbook like this

Stans: Yeah but it’s Meghan’s cookbook. You should talk about Meghan more when you talk about the cookbook. You’re just a white person, that’s why you don’t talk about her

Dina: I like Harry a lot and I know he didn’t mean anything bad but I’ve been in this situation with non-Muslim men a lot and it makes me really uncomfortable. This is a situation I know about and given he has advisors he really should have known better

Stans: You’re only talking about it because you hate Harry and Meghan. Why are you always so negative? He didn’t mean it. She probably thought it was fine, how would you know?

Dina: I’ve lived with this my entire life and I am angry that the press are trying to malign Muslim women and the whole community- a community which has suffered more than most of us could stand thanks to the Grenfell fire and continued deprivation- based on the actions of a small handful of the thousands of people who visit the mosque each year

Stans: Why aren’t you recognising it’s about Meghan? They were motivated by racism against Meghan. Why didn’t you mention her first?
