There’s a lot of things Meghan has done that previous royals before couldn’t get away with. Who knows at this point?
Royals cannot do endorsements. Not protocol either but a requirement from Parliament. Lots of reasons but it boils down to the Monarchy is not for sale. The Monarchy is the Brit government. This would be like Michelle O cutting an endorsement deal while FLOTUS. Not ethical. MM did have a deal certainly with Birks and Givenchy and the RF had to have known it. SO why was she allowed to do that?
