Are there even enough rooms at Sandringham to have one available for Doria? I thought I read that there weren’t actually that many bedrooms there. And if the Cambs go to the Midds, no options at Anmer either. Lack of space to host her is a good excuse, she can always visit before or after Xmas.

Well, let’s not forget that Doria has to give up hanging out with her friends and family back in SoCal to fly all the way to England for Meg’s PR games. 

There is probably room, given that it’s a large estate, but the bigger issue would probably be that you have to dress up all the time because you’re in the home of the Queen. That’s how the Queen likes it. It’s a strict schedule. Doria wouldn’t really know anyone there very well.
