I other damage control strategies, the muddy shoes and general dishevelment is now “relatable.”

Oh, I suspect there were a ton of outfits and fittings and photos for these few minutes in the spotlight. Thanks to Meghan, I have enormous respect now for Kate and Tash’s prep work. They probably spent a few days just getting the baby blanket folds right.

There’s a big chunk of Harry and Meghan’s fans who have absolutely no idea how royalty works and have no interest in finding out. Like I actually saw a post saying it was racist that they aren’t supposed to call Meghan Princess Meghan. Like…no. Lots of people are new to the fandom and we all had to learn, but those who are closed off to the possibility of ever learning annoy the hell out of me. It’s really bad on IG. Some of these people have around 20,000 followers but don’t actually know anything about royalty. They just post pretty pictures
Wow, “our” Kate. I don’t think I’ve ever heard that before. I think my favorite line is “the eyeliner had been applied with the usual vigor.” Cheesus, even I don’t defend Kate’s eyeliner addiction. You know they love you when your worst foibles are considered adorable strengths.
OMG. I’m not sure where to start on that one. I used to like her a long time ago. I started getting annoyed when she kept pimping her kids out every time she had a movie or needed to promote something. The final straw was the bullshit manner she conducted her separation from Brad. It was all completely unnecessary.
Ted Casablanca was totally right about her. I remember him saying that when AJ decided she was going to be done with Brad that she would just dump him cold, which is exactly what she did in the most public manner possible.
People forget that in 2000–not long after she won her Oscar–AJ actually checked herself into the UCLA hospital psych ward for 72 hours because she was supposedly suicidal over not being able to marry Billy Bob Thornton. I don’t believe she was actually suicidal over BBT. She was probably suicidal because she had pinned herself in a corner by trying to be super edgy during the 1999-2000 awards season by kissing and making out with her brother.
Remember, she said she was “so in love” with her brother, Jaime, while accepting her Oscar.
She’s done a good job making people forget about all of this with her UNHCR work and adopting tons of kids. She’s the same drama queen as her father, whom she cut out after her life after he went on national television saying she needed help for her serious psychological issues. Probably a very accurate statement regarding her but that clearly wasn’t the right way to go about it.
Ted Casablanca had a blind item that most people believed as about Angelina Jolie, Fake à la Ferocity.It basically tells you that AJ never really gave up heroin. Instead she moved on to the pharmaceutical kind of opiates.
I just can’t with her at this point because she pimps out her kids. None of those kids are going to be able to function as adults. And she is SO skeletal when you see pictures of her. And hardly anyone in the press mentions it.
The Financial Times was the only paper to not lead with the new baby. this was a forgone conclusion, though, so it’s not much of an achievement. The covers are cute, though.
Nah, Lainey just gets weird crushes on celebs. The weird thing is that she always crushes on the real nutcases like Angie and Mariah. She invariably hates the saner and more professional celebs like Jennifer Gardner.
I knew Meg was a real psycho the instant Lainey started stanning for her. Lainey loooooooooves the psychos. The crazier Meg gets, the more Lainey will stan. Eventually, she’ll start going “yes, Meghan wore a lacy negligee to the Invictus concert and she rubbed her tits all over Justin Trudeau’s face, but that’s what makes her a precious butterfly and the royal pearl-clutchers can just stuff it because she’s modernizing the royal family and bringing racial justice to the UK one tit smear at a time” just like she does with Mariah.
I don’t think Harry will be able to blame those around him though. He might want to, but I’m pretty sure that everyone close to him told him it was too early to get married to Megs. He didn’t want to listen and just bulldozed right ahead.
She really doesn’t understand what the job of a royal is. Truly. Attending these events will be her future job if she makes it to the altar, but she thinks they’ll all be red carpet walks.

Lainey doesn’t have children. She has friends who have children. She also has a niece and nephew. Lainey is an only child, so she has no sibling rivalry to relate to.
But yeah, I remember what you’re talking about. When she was writing that way back when he was a one- or two-year old, I didn’t mind so much since you can’t reason with them. Now George is almost FIVE and seems very well behaved. It is straight up asinine.
