Check boxes for same-sex couples will be offered in the 2020 census in an attempt to fix a long-standing problem of Census Bureau overcounts of these couples. In addition, the census will ask those who check the white or black race boxes to say more about their national origins.
Librarians, policymakers and other experts gathered Thursday in Washington, D.C., for a panel discussion on the legislation and the needs of tribal communities.
Federal Communications Commissioner Mignon Clyburn told the group that investing in broadband infrastructure is critical because those investments increasingly determine which cities, towns and tribal nations thrive.

Lainey made an assumption that it was a blackamoor brooch simply because the character was black/of African origin, and it took off like wildfire in the gossip press because Princess Pushy/Princess Michael has said racist things in the past. Lainey did no research – she just assumed. Blackamoor works show the African character in positions of servitude or ridicule (see the article cited above); however, the brooch Princess Michael wore did no such thing. It was simply of an African man dressed in gold and jewels: a king.
It’s simply ignorant of art and religious history and tradition to simply point fingers accusing Princess Michael of racism with the Balthazar brooch. (That doesn’t necessarily mean she isn’t racist; it just means the Balthazar brooch itself is not inherently racist as are blackamoor works.)
Balthazar, as one of the three Magi, has historically always been portrayed as an African – just as the other two Magi have been historically been portrayed as Arabian and Mediterranean. This is a representation of the historical Christian diaspora and the traditional regional powers of the early Christian era. Recall that this is a religion born of the eastern Mediterranean, with connections to the surrounding areas.
A better representation of historical racism in European Christianity would surely be portraying Jesus as a blond or fair-skinned European. Or the fact that in Spain they still portray Balthazar using blackface instead of actors of African descent.
Oh, I suspect that this relationship will burn out due to normal relationship stress of two people not meant to be together long term.
Harry will have reached the two-year point on this relationship in the summer, and like other people have noted, he sucks at long-term relationships. They’ll break up then.
Maybe it’ll be her diva attitude that’ll finally make Harry realize that he’s going to have to deal with that side of her forever. I don’t expect we’ll really know until months later when his side of things is leaked by “sources.”

The whole “feminist princess” idea is weird because (i) she dropped her entire life for this one guy, and (ii) her entire rise to cable pseudo-fame was based on playing “hot girls.”
It’s a weird disconnect, which was painfully obvious during the STEMettes engagement when she was supposed to encourage girls to pursue STEM careers and ended up (of course!) encouraging them to take their clothes off on television.

Gina’s stories mesh very well with Meghan’s own old blog posts. Here’s one with her reaction when a casting director asked her for a headshot (how dare she????). Meghan’s reaction was so over-the-top that other acting blogs were like “wtf?” You are always supposed to have a head shot.
