PR anon again. She used the wedding the same way. Givenchy paid for the pr. Givenchy got millions in free advertising. The question is why is the BRF cooperating with her? They know. Did stupid Harry think he had a real possibility here and forced it? Probably. He is sure learning a lesson. Everything she does is scripted. And it is all for money. I am dubious on the pregnancy. We’ll see.
oh and (pr anon) she ’ll cancel events for drama. She can’t cancel much cause she has to display the garbage she is paid to wear. I’d bet there won’t be anymore cancellations. Don’t get distracted. The real show is her money making scam. And how the RF handles her. They will take a passive low risk approach they have all along. First wait for Harry to see his error. Second let her reveal what she is. Self destruct.
HBO guest host Brittany Packnett warned white Republican women that they will not be protected from male oppression just because of the color of their skin.
Packnett, an activist for Teach for America, made the remarks during HBO’s weekly Pod Save American program.
“Let’s talk about our sister Stormy Daniels because she absolutely does not deserve the way that this president has been talking about her,” Packnett said. “But here’s what, frankly, worries me. This ‘president’ – yeah, I used air quotes – he has been talking horribly about women since he was a candidate.”
“He admitted to being a sexual assaulter when he was a candidate and 53 percent of white women went ahead and elected him anyway,” she lamented. “So let me talk to my white sisters for a second. I just want to issue a warning and I hope you are listening closely.”
Packnett continued: “I want you tell your mamas and your aunties and your grandmothers – from me – to stop selling us out! Listen, I know it’s really hard but your whiteness will actually not save you from what patriarchy has for you.”
According to Packett, women should learn from the way Dr. Christine Blasey Ford was treated when she testified against then-Supreme Court nominee Brett Kavanaugh.
“Right?” Packett pointed out. “We all know what happened to her when she decided to stand up and be a patriot in this country and try to save the rest of us.”
Stop trying to change someone who doesn’t want to change. Stop giving chances to someone who abuses your forgiveness. Stop running back to the place where your heart ran from. Stop trusting their words and ignoring their actions. Stop breaking your own heart.
The disabled athlete pushed boundaries, “overcomes disability,” and is often used as inspiration porn for the abled. “What’s your excuse?” they superimpose over a picture of an attractive young woman with a single lower leg prosthetic.
Disabled athletes are used (wittingly or not) as symbols of personal responsibility and determination. This fits into broader cultural ideals promoting individualism, and not accommodating disability. This is where I point out that most of the amputee athletes in these inspirational pictures are wearing prosthetic running blades that cost $15-18,000 each.
No, I agree this is problem. A lot of the issues and charities that they were supposedly trying to highlight have been buried under an avalanche of pda and baby coverage.
And the issues addressed were so important and interesting–refugees, environment, culture, health, diplomacy. Everything was meaningful and there was absolutely no fluff.
Happy Birthday Carrie Fisher! [B. October 21st, 1956-∞]
“When I love, I love for miles and miles. A love so big it should either be outlawed or it should have a capital and its own currency.” – Carrie Fisher
Happy birthday to my Earth Mom, who birthed me and raised me, and to my Space Mom, who shaped and strengthened me.
No one really knows the answer to that except those really close to The Queen such as Philip, Charles, Anne, etc.
But since Megs hasn’t been pictured next to The Queen since their engagement together months ago, I think it’s safe to guess probably not. There are no photos of Megs together with the Queen at Balmoral, unlike Kate.
I mean, what’s to like? Megs can’t do a tour properly, unlike Kate. So I would go with no, The Queen probably doesn’t like Megs very much.
“I never liked the Saudi royals but Mohammed bin Salman has just became my least favourite! Don’t be fooled by his superficial liberal reforms, that man is probably gonna be the most autocratic Saudi royal in near future. What kind of person ordered the killing of an exciled journalist overseas, denied his death and then gave us the most stupid explantion that only Trump believes? This man is not fit to be king. #MrBoneSaw“ – Submitted by Anonymous
The tour ends on October 31 and Remembrance Day in the UK is November 11. I have no doubt she’ll attend the Remembrance ceremony in full bellycup mode.
“Meghan is barely showing right now. She could’ve waited at least a few more weeks before announcing her pregnancy.” – Submitted by Anonymous
“Meghan’s “bump” is literally nonexistent. They could have waited to announce, you can barely tell she’s pregnant in most of the pictures from Australia.” – Submitted by Anonymous
She was all smiles from the moment they landed. She loves the spotlight.
I bet she’s already planning on bellycupping during the Remembrance event in London in a few weeks. Wearing her trademark black dress but now with bellycup hands.
I don’t doubt she’s pregnant. I just don’t think she’s showing much, so she has to push the belly out and wear loose clothing to maximize the bumplet.
It’s kind of hilarious when you think of it. She started advertising “the invisible bump” as soon as she could. I wonder how long it took for her to find that ruffle dress.
OMG, remember Jason Wu’s awkward face when he was asked about the pregnancy rumors? I bet the designers knew before the BRF knew.
Very likely. I think the Queen will probably say no. And Harry and Megs would have to visit the US when campaigning for the most contentious presidential election ever will be happening. Just not a good time for a royal visit with Trump as president.
I definitely think Megs and JM will be getting together. It’d be even better if the Australian press got pictures of it since, you know, Megs is supposed to be resting.
As for mental breakdown…too hard to say at this point. Harry looks like he’s going to have one first though. He’s got to carry this two-person tour basically by himself for the rest of the tour. He’s got to be even more stressed at this point and probably will be for the rest of the tour. No break for Harry until he gets to fly home on November 1st!
So patronages have been further postponed to new year now. Personally I don’t see a US tour for them, with focus on Commonwealth and Brexit, and trump and the debacle that they are doing in the ongoing tour, a US tour might literally cause an uproar.
Thanks for sending this in! I think Meghan will definitely do the US tour. She may even bring the baby along.
Why would the BRF and the UK Foreign Office want to send Harry ‘n Megs out on another tour? Given how terrible this tour is going, what would be the point?
We know Megs wants to go on tour to the US, but that’s because she’s expecting to do a tour in LA because William and Kate stopped there.
The KP feed is also doing a good job. If it weren’t for the endless drama, this would be a boring, but decent tour. The drama, however, is burying everything.
The Bondi beach charity is the only one that has gotten any press at all, and that’s because they really put on a show. Flying Doc got a little press because of the childbirth demo, but got buried under banana bread news. Kudos to both charities for really trying to get their names out there.
I think that’s it. She met with the Kookaburra Kids yesterday, but that got buried under “pacing herself” news. The indigenous school got embargoed and no one paid any attention to it because of the banana bread. They had lunch at a place that also helps the indigenous, but I didn’t even catch the name, just the menu ingredients. The rest of the events were not charities, just “programs” at different places–Formula 1 something, inclusion whatever at the girls’ school she visited, and something about microgreens. There was so little attention paid to any of these events that I don’t even remember the names of the programs or much about what they did. Oh, wait, there was the rugby Girls Can program. I do remember that name, but mostly because it was so ironic in light of the fact that Meghan couldn’t throw that ball.
The sugars are desperately trying to spin her crap fashion into “seriousness” and “work focus,” but it’s ridiculous because the only thing Meghan is promoting is herself–her pregnancy (binders, comments, presents, belly-thrusting), her relationship (constantly escalating pda), her culinary skills (banana bread, food events), her celeb friends (Serena and Gillian Anderson clothes). You need a magnifying glass to even notice any of the charity work.
I don’t really get the speech either. It almost sounds like a goodbye speech, but there’s another Invictus in the Netherlands. This isn’t the last one.
I feel like they both now pivoting to “community building,” maybe that’s why he’s talking about the “Invictus family,” instead of, you know, actually mentioning the individual athletes and their stories.
Including me! Two years ago I would have been nitpicking Kate’s outfit with “why did she wear a dark color like burgundy to a celebratory event?” Now I’m all “OMG, color, yes!!!” because at least it’s not black.
