Do all tiaras in the BRF belong to the Queen?

duchessofostergotlands:

So there’s three main types of tiaras in the British royal family

1) The Queen’s personal tiaras- these are pieces that she personally owns. She can choose what she wants to do with them moving forward, who she bestows them on etc

2) Tiaras owned by the Crown- these tiaras are not the Queen’s personal collection so she can’t sell them but she is considered their guardian and decides who can wear them and when

3) Tiaras owned by other members of the family- some tiaras are owned by other members of the family. Some examples of these tiaras and where they came from:

Cartier Indian Tiara- This was bequeathed to the Duke of Gloucester so wouldn’t be worn by people outside their family

Festoon tiara- This was a personal gift to Anne from a shipping company

City of London Fringe tiara- this was given as a wedding gift to Princess Marina and has since been passed through the Kent line

Ogilvy tiara- This was made for Princess Alexandra’s wedding so she is the only person who wears it and may pass it on to her family

Oh geez she had botox maybe fillers done. You can see the injection site still on her cheek. It is the obvious “bump” there. She is something else. Obviously thinks the baby will magically be healthy even if she ignores all precautions. Unbelievable.

I don’t know what pictures you’re looking at, but I haven’t seen any evidence for her to have had botox done. Botox is only done in the cheeks when you have TMJ. It would be almost impossible for her to have had botox done in her cheeks because if she did, then she wouldn’t be able to smile or move much of her face. Her cheeks would look flat, and there would be no bump.

I’ve only seen evidence of weight gain in her face and lots of make up.

I was watching Diana: Story of a Princess Part 2 on Youtube and around the 1 hour mark her former media consultant who she hired during the divorce to manage the PR quit after 8 months because she said that she couldn’t work in the environment any longer. This wasn’t in reference to abuse but rather that Diana ignored her advise on multiple occasions. She also described her as mercurial. Harry’s taste in women is still as creepy as when he was dating all the blondes….

I don’t find Harry’s taste in women creepy specifically, but he does have his mother’s mercurial attitude.

Once upon a time, depression was generally seen as a purely psychological disturbance; these days, people are likely to think of it as a tidy biological syndrome. In fact, it’s hard to make sense of the distinction. Most depressive disorders are now thought to involve a mixture of reactive (so-called neurotic) factors and internal (“endogenous”) factors; depression is seldom a simple genetic disease or a simple response to external troubles. Resolving the biological and the psychological understanding of depression is as difficult as reconciling predestination and free will.

There is no feminism to speak of at this point in history: no preserved understanding on the part of any of these women that their rule could potentially change the patriarchal system going forward.

In the long run, ancient Egypt was no less cruel and oppressive to women than every other complex society on Earth – but, here, they snatched the gift away after graciously bestowing it. So even ancient Egypt – the only state that consistently allowed female rule – suffered a woman leader only when it had to, expunging her from the eyes of her people as soon as possible.

On November 9th, 1959, the Secretary of Health informed the public that a small portion of the cranberry crop from the Pacific Northwest had recently tested positive for the herbicide, which caused abnormal growths in lab rats. He had a message for the consumer (that is, the “housewife”): if she couldn’t determine the origin of her berries, “to be on the safe side, she doesn’t buy.”

A $50 million dollar a year business collapsed overnight.

A royal reporter on twitter, tweeted that Meghan thanked the media for showing up and said they don’t always get that from members of the BRF… these reporters love being appreciated so Meg does just that “Bye guys, thanks for coming” she said. She does the same to Prince Charles. Give a little wave and show appreciation so the royal reporters will show favor. Sweetening up soon to be King daddy in law. She is very Machiavellian, which could end up being very dangerous for the BRF in the end.

talkingtarot:

She’s just doing that because she thinks it will work in her favor when things hit the fan. It won’t work though. Her and this marriage have too many things against it rather than for it for them to choose her side and favour her in the end. Unless you hold some real power with press and media attention (which Meghan doesn’t since majority of all her press is orchestrated and manufactured, not authetic like for example Catherine’s), flattery doesn’t work Meg. Sorry.

Raju the elephant spent over 50 years in India as a tourist attraction. He was beaten by his handlers, forced to “beg” for money from pedestrians, and was bound by painful chains. Elephants are highly evolved in their emotional intelligence, so this life had detrimental effects on Raju’s mental health. Luckily, Wildlife SOS obtained all the required paperwork and staged a covert rescue of Raju last summer. On July 6th Raju celebrated his 1 year anniversary of his freedom. Look how happy he is today, he even got a cake!!

You don’t talk, you watch talk shows. You don’t play games, you watch game shows. Travel, relationships, risk; every meaningful experience must be packaged and delivered to you to watch at a distance so that you can remain ever-sheltered, ever-passive, ever-ravenous consumers who can’t train themselves to rise from their couches to break a sweat, and participate in life.

I know Meghan is pregnant, but I can’t get over how her belly and boobs go up an down in size – looking 6 months pregnant one day and flat as a board the next, belly folding over when she bends down etc. Is she using fake padding on top of a flat pregnant stomach? Did she do that on the Oceania tour? If so, why? Any chance of a reading to find out what is going on here? TIA if so, if you are not interested ’tis OK.

talkingtarot:

I’ll look into it.

Abdomens are made of malleable tissue.

Royals cannot do endorsements. Not protocol either but a requirement from Parliament. Lots of reasons but it boils down to the Monarchy is not for sale. The Monarchy is the Brit government. This would be like Michelle O cutting an endorsement deal while FLOTUS. Not ethical. MM did have a deal certainly with Birks and Givenchy and the RF had to have known it. SO why was she allowed to do that?

talkingtarot:

There’s a lot of things Meghan has done that previous royals before couldn’t get away with. Who knows at this point?

“I started off doing Psychology at St Andrews, with History of Art,” said Kate. Laughing, she added: “It was a bit full on, but it was really interesting.” – This is interesting! I don’t think we knew Kate started off doing psychology!

duchessofostergotlands:

Yeah I had no idea! At St Andrews you study your main choice and then you make up credits by studying other subjects that you don’t intend to do your degree in. I did Psychology, Ancient History and Film Studies for my first term. One of the options Kate did must have been Psychology. Honestly the fact I may have sat in the same seats as her during my lectures does make my university memories better hahaha

“Meghan’s black Safiyaa look is one of the ugliest outfits I’ve ever seen, no joke. The top doesn’t go with the skirt, it should be paired with cropped/cigarette trousers. The sequin and the straps made it look cheap af and reminds me something a teen would wear in late 90s-early00s. Safiyaa has much better designs yet she picks this…ugh.“ – Submitted by Anoynmous

This Thanksgiving, don’t forget to honor Native American Heritage Month

In making plans to celebrate Thanksgiving, don’t forget: November is also Native American Heritage Month. Observing it won’t undo the atrocities that occurred over the past few centuries — or the current threats to Native Americans and their lands, such as the proposed Dakota Access Pipeline — but recognizing and celebrating those who were here first and are now marginalized is an important step in moving things forward. Especially if you missed Native American Day.
