SHOTS FIRED!

You know it’s about to ‘go down’ when you’re actually slowly whispering “oh my goood”. Daddy’s got an in with the UK press now. It’s official. The Sun is his UK TMZ.

No response wringed from RoyalMeg or KP out of his Saturday & Sunday exclusives in The Sun, so now the old fox is shooting warning shots with a sharp loaded shotgun! LOL, good heavens. He’s basically going, ‘oh you thought this was embarrassing? Pick up the damned phone or I’ll show you embarrassment.’ He’s really much better at this media game than his daughter.

I mean…, “If I chose in a month, or couple of months, to go to En­g­land — I want to see my daughter. I’m thinking about it. I don’t care whether she is p***** off at me or not.”

And, “I still want to meet the Queen. If she’ll meet Donald Trump, why not me? (!OMG!) I’d like to be treated by the royal family like Meghan’s father. I should be regarded with the respect of any other father of the bride.”

Here’s to him actually doing it. Can you imagine the brouhaha he’ll cause with Fleet Street chomping at the bit? The poor (literally and figuratively poor!) father, pictured outside of KP gates, not being let in, pouring his heart out to his darling daughter through the press in an attempt to reach her. Fearing she’s being held hostage in there; smothered into silence under a mountain of £€$£€$£€$ bespoke swag. DANG! Do it Thomas Markle Sr. Doooo iiiiiiit!

Thanks for sending this in. It’s turning into quite the soap opera. 

It would actually be a big chance for her. She could have a public reconciliation, introduce him to the Queen, and then leak that she’s now talking to him but being very careful about what she says because she knows he’s talking to the press. That would neutralize him.

But it sounds like she’s going to try ignoring him, which will just make him rant and rave. That’s going to look pretty funny when she decides she wants to do charity again and starts going on Heads Together events telling people that “we must all help” the mentally ill and families in crisis and there should be tons of support and no stigma.

The thing with doing it there own way is that they can’t blame anyone else for the screwups. I think that’s why the palace is letting them do this. They don’t want to be responsible for a couple of adult babies.

They are going to get blamed anyway, by Tom Markle of all people. It’s hilarious because Richard Kay had insiders saying that the staff was desperately trying to get Meghan to make up with her family and she just refused to do so. Now they are getting blamed for it all.

Hollywood american celebrity way is totally different than the British royal way. Trying to control their image from day one she thought she can outsmart the british press and do it the old hollywood PR way and control their narrative. I bet know she’s learning the british press is totally different from the american way. Americans love the flashy celebrity world but the british world is totally different. We have the same language but different cultures. She’s finding out the hard way

I think the main difference is that a Hollywood celebrity can live in the publicist bubble forever, but royals have to interact with the real world. Meghan sold everyone this Hollywood humanitarian image and now that’s crumbling down.

Omid is dumb to defend Megs publicly. Tom Sr will clap back with receipts of how things were good up until just before the wedding. Omid should really stop listening to Megs and her lies. She’s already burned him, when will he learn? I can’t wait for the next Tom Sr interview.

Well, that’s what I don’t get about this sudden “toxic parenting” talk. Tom was supposedly a saint (amply documented in Meghan’s speeches, essays and social media) until early May 2018. 

Whatever Tom Sr does after this she completely deserves. To label him as a child abuser after saying what a great father he was is sick. And all because he didn’t fit into her brand so she kicked him to the curb. It’s her fault that he opened his mouth and I hope he keeps doing it too. I hope he gets mad enough that he tells us all about his precious daughter. How she uses people and throws them away like garbage. How shes been scheming everything. You reap what you sow Meghan. Go for it Tom Sr!

Meghan’s a bitch for treating her father this way. My father was a raging alcoholic who didn’t do anything for me or my two sisters. From everything I’ve heard her father was wonderful to her and to treat him like that? Bitch.

So, basically now that Mio has stupidly set up a rationale that Megs needs to separate herself from her father, we can probably expect that Tom Sr. is going to come back with everything that he did for his daughter growing up and beyond. The best part is the one where they complain about Emily using the phrase “newly-minted.” They clearly don’t know what that means and they thought Emily was calling Meghan nouveau riche or something. David M is on this trip as the foreign policy advisor. He is a serious heavyweight in fp. They would send him to make sure the two stoners do not screw up and to watch them and report back. He does not travel with Harry and while Ireland is very important and a sensitive place my guess is the presence of MM is what got him this job. Bet he is not thrilled to be a babysitter. The foreign office must have been worried about screw ups to send him for damage control.

I think Xanax is a generic expression for her zombie appearance – the vacant stare the frozen smile weird affect. Harry has to constantly give her directions for even the simplest things (“bow now” on the balcony) and he is ever watchful when she is speaking to people like he doesn’t trust what she might say. Whatever she is taking (and she just might be stoned) she is not coping well with the situation she created for herself.

Aside of thinking that W&K genuinely love each other, and H&M not, I think it was a smart choice of W&K not to show PDA in official engagements. Being ‘neutral and professional’ in public makes it harder for the press to speculate about their relationships. But H&M are always glue to each other, so of course when they don’t, people and press 1) give excuses explaining why 2) speculate about problems in heaven. And people will start to notice when things go wrong. Not a very smart move, imo.

It took me a moment to figure out what you were talking about. Are you aware all of this markle daddy issue crap could’ve been avoided if they made an effort to actually see him. She could’ve at least went to go see her dad in person before leaking her own showmance. But because they are so desperate to stay woke, relevant, young, and diverse the only person they made an effort to have physical and public contact with was her mother. Who got her narrative of being a poc. Her father was extremely silent up until the engagement. So why wasn’t he shown the same helping hand? Why was he only given a phone call here and there? It’s one thing to hear over the phone dont talk to so and so, it’s another to physically be there in person expressing your concern and making things clear. And harry is somewhat at fault because if he is as controlling as her PR is making him out to be he should’ve said handle this crap in person or else it will bite you in the ass after the wedding. But that’s just my opinion.

That express article just made me realize what was irking me so badly about the photos of Meghan interacting with Her Majesty. Meghan behaves like The Queen is some adorable and pitiful old lady but Her Majesty is a powerful bad ass legend yet Meghan is sitting there doing her fake head tilt and smiling at her like “aw isn’t she just so adorbs”

People want Meghan to fuck up but let’s be real here: She’s not a dumb cookie. She knows what this entails and will be on her best behavior. Meghan’s hiccups are made up and the furthest from anything bad but let’s be honest, they wouldn’t keep putting her out there if they felt she wasn’t ready. Kate has shown her ass to us multiple times over the years because she doesn’t know what a skirt weight is. Her first engagement with the Queen, she wore a skirt that was too short and bare legs.

Ghosting Piers Morgan was the dumbest thing Meghan has done. He is just getting started.

Ghosting a LOT of people is going to cost Megs in the near future. Everyone she’s dusted seems to have good reason to hate her. She could have saved herself by inviting so many people to the wedding. But NOPE!

Even Kate’s Uncle Gary went to the wedding, and obviously Uncle Gary never got a 30-minute interview on British national morning television.

Thomas Markle’s interview is clearly the work of Piers Morgan. I literally do not understand why anyone would think Megs set this up. 

That said, Piers probably knows all the dirt from working in the media, just like the rest of Fleet Street. Piers wasn’t going to wait for anything to happen to start instigating this shit, so he got the party started. The rest of Fleet Street is waiting for an invitation, which Harry & Megs will no doubt give sooner rather than later. Because they are that dumb.

Prince Charles is not going to remove anything from Harry. Harry, by far, is the son he’s most closest too despite William being his heir. William basically shuts Charles out of his life and that of his kids. Meghan and Harry have little reason to do the same. Charles can use Meghan and Harry more than he can William. Him agreeing to walk her half way down the aisle is some of the most positive press and response from the public he’s seen in a while. People though it was upstanding of him.

Charles is going to distance himself from that dumb-fuck of a younger son he has for the time being. He may get public pr points from walking Megs down a quarter aisle, but he knows Megs is a pr disaster waiting to happen. 

In any family, you have someone who is crazy, addicted, just “off,” but you don’t give them the keys to the castle along with family PR power and unlimited funds. Why go to all this fuss over Harry’s girlfriend/wife? Why have they given H/M so much control this far? That trend might change later, but Kate had to jump through major hoops for years. Even Sophie had to, Jack has been dating E for 7ish years. Why is everyone caving to Harry?

One, I think they are afraid that he will turn full Diana and start doing interview trashing the BRF. I don’t think it’s a coincidence that he was doing interviews talking about how they made him walk behind the coffin, Will didn’t take care of him at Eton, and no one wants to be a royal in February/March when he was trying to sell Meghan to the BRF.

I get a lot of anons talking about how Meghan has dirt on the BRF, but I think the one with the real dirt on the BRF, and an amazing platform to spread it, is Harry.

Second, I think Harry has serious issues that make him borderline unmarriageable. Yes, the press attention and mind-numbingly boring royal workload are part of it, but there are likely other personal issues. A lot of people talked about how William had to settle for Kate because “there was no one else.” I think that is actually true about Harry. They’ve been trying for years to get someone decent to step up with no luck. I think Harry told them that this was his only chance and they couldn’t take it away from him.

Loved your recap! I noticed how things got pulled back together after PC and Cams returned from Greece. Things were really sliding off the rails at MM, er I mean, KP PR, but right after they got back, BRF got back to some semblance of being on-brand. I’m thinking PH/MM believe once they have children it will be endless photo-ops w/their very own PG/PC, and everyone will love them and they will outshine PW/DC. The problem is the Markle family is NEVER going away and PH/MM’s child will give the Markles (& Doria) endless photo-op and press/interviews. This circus will NEVER end. I agree w/you HoB that PC will have to permanently sideline PH (&cut his pay). It will be the only way to save the Monarchy. Seriously.

I suspect Charles will just cut Harry off financially first. We won’t know about it, but it’ll mean that Harry will have to pay for everything out of the money Diana bequeathed to him. No one knows how much of that there still is. But at the rate Meghan spends it probably won’t last as long as Harry thinks it will. 

IF Harry & Megs are able to conceive–and that’s an IF because IVF does not guarantee a pregnancy let alone a delivered baby–their children will never be as sought after as Will & Kate’s. Beatrice and Eugenie were never as popular for international photographs as William and Harry. That’s one thing H&M seem not to understand. And that their stans don’t seem to understand either. I’m sure Megs is already planning names and pap opportunities; however, part of the reason why people go gaga over George and Charlotte is that we see them on few occasions. H&M’s strategy is to send everything straight to the tabs because they want their headlines and front pages. They would never get the huge crowds at the Lindo Wing like Will & Kate because none of their children will be close to the throne. Harry is currently number six, which means all his children will be even lower down the ladder. And I don’t think Megs would even be able to do a same day photo op after giving birth; she looks too frail.

I think much of the Markle family will go away after the wedding. They’re not going to stay in the UK. Most of them seem to have lives of their own except for a few, and at a certain point they’ll become old news, possibly sooner than we think.
