Although she did start the “humanitarian” phase when she was an actress, so it’s not completely new at this point.
I am somewhat surprised that the articles are continuing. At this point, I’m guessing that we’ll get low-ball, turmoil-in-the-palace articles from now until the end of the year. Probably nothing earth shattering before the end of the year. UK tabs will probably let something major rip the first full weekend of the new year. January 6th looks like a good bet for now.
Ahahahaha…. Meghan trying to spin things to put the Cambridges down! Love this for how her shade exposes things!
Prince William and Kate skip a board meeting attended by Prince Harry and Meghan at the Royal Foundation fuelling rumours of a deepening rift between the royal couples

Harry and Meghan are set to move to Frogmore Cottage – away from the palace

The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge failed to attend a board meeting of the Royal Foundation this week amid rumours of a royal rift with the Duke and Duchess of Sussex.
William and Kate lead the foundation together with Harry and Meghan but while the Duke and Duchess of Sussex both attended the meeting, as well as a staff Christmas party afterwards, the other two members of the so-called Fab Four didn’t show up.
Kensington Palace insists that the Cambridges were not expected, but a source admitted that it ‘was a shame’ they didn’t attend the meeting or the subsequent party.
Rumours of a rift between the Cambridges and the Sussexes have spread like wildfire following the announcement that Harry, 34, and Meghan, 37, are set to move away from Kensington Palace to Frogmore Cottage.
And the latest chapter of the rumoured rivalry saw Harry and Meghan attend the board meeting alone.
A source revealed: ‘Not only were Harry and Meghan there, but they went to the staff Christmas party afterwards.
‘It was a very jolly affair. It’s a shame that William and Catherine did not turn up.’
Kensington Palace insists that the Cambridges had not been expected. ‘Their Royal Highnesses attend these meetings in turn,’ a spokesman says.
‘This session was focused on programmes led by the Duke of Sussex.’
Sooo… Cambridges weren’t supposed to be there, but Meg’s PR attempts are trying to throw them under the bus to her advantage!
Although the rift has mostly focused on the relationship between Meghan and Kate, recent reports suggest that the issue is actually between William and Harry.
According to the Sun, a royal source claims that Harry is accusing William of trying to ‘wreck his relationship with Meghan’.
William is believed to have ‘voiced concerns’ about Meghan to his brother.
And Harry’s over-protectiveness of his wife has apparently driven a wedge between the two brothers.
One courtier told the Sun: ‘It’s my opinion that Harry feels he couldn’t protect his mother, so he’s going all out to protect his wife.
‘This is his way of atoning. He will brook absolutely no criticism of Meghan — and he is so sensitive he often sees criticism or negativity where there isn’t any.’
When all else fails, bring up Mummy Diana’s name to solve the PR problem!
The friction between the two apparently started when William tried to give Harry some brotherly advice about the Canadian actress, back when their romance was still fairly new.
However, the chat went down badly with one friend saying that Harry ‘went mental’.
The friend added that the relationship between the two brothers has never really recovered since.
Sooo…. it’s all William’s fault because he was butting in where he shouldn’t have….
The source also revealed that Meghan felt rebuffed when she tried to befriend Kate and that the brothers are competing against each other over palace appointments.
Meghan apparently tried to approach Kate to learn the ropes but the Duchess of Cambridge was pre-occupied with her children Prince Louis, George, five, and Charlotte, three.
ANNNDDD…. It’s not Meghan’s fault that she’s not friends with Kate! Regina George Meghan is the one making an effort, not Kate.
The Duchess of Sussex is also said to be surprising the royal household with just how keen her mind is.
Harry and Meghan are set to move out of Kensington Palace – and away from William and Kate – to make a new home at Frogmore Cottage in Windsor.
Officially, the couple are moving to have their own space for their new child who is due in the spring.
However, rumours have spread since the announcement that a secret family feud is the real reason for the move.
Forget the girls, it’s simmering tensions between brothers William and Harry that are at the heart of the frostiness between the two royal power couples
EXCLUSIVEBy Emily Andrews, Royal Correspondent7th December 2018, 10:15 pmUpdated: 8th December 2018, 11:25 am
Oh, Emily! When are you going to learn you’re a fool for doing Meghan’s bidding??
FOR two weeks all eyes have been on the “difficult relationship” between royal wives Meghan and Kate.
But today the Sun can reveal the simmering tensions between brothers William and Harry are at the heart of the frostiness between the two couples.
HARRY accusing Wills of trying to “wreck his relationship” with Meghan after he voiced concerns over her;
MEGHAN feeling rebuffed when she tried to befriend Kate;
RIVALRY between the brothers’ over palace appointments, and;
HARRY’S desire to protect his wife at all costs after not being able to do so for Princess Diana.
From being young boys united in grief to building Britain’s modern monarchy together, the brothers could not have been closer.
Until now.
For insiders say it is problems between them, dating back to when Meghan, 37, appeared on the scene, that are fuelling the fallings-out.
And Harry’s over-protectiveness of his wife — and refusal to see reason — is the main cause of the chasm.
As one courtier told me: “It’s my opinion that Harry feels he couldn’t protect his mother, so he’s going all out to protect his wife.
“This is his way of atoning.
“He will brook absolutely no criticism of Meghan — and he is so sensitive he often sees criticism or negativity where there isn’t any.”
Using the memory of mummy dearest when all other PR strategies fail….
Of course, the brothers have locked horns before. William, 36, was said to be furious with Harry, 34, for getting caught on camera stripping in a Las Vegas hotel room six years ago.
Can you blame William, though? Harry was old enough to know better…
But they always turned to each other when times were tough — the only people who could truly understand their lives.
The first hint of friction came after William was introduced to Meghan, 37, when she was staying at Kensington Palace.
Once she’d returned home to Canada, Wills sat Harry down for a chat — meant as brotherly advice.
He knew Harry was already head-over-heels for the US star but wanted him to take it slowly.
A well-placed source said: “William told his brother they knew nothing about her background, her intentions, what she was really like.
“He just wanted to stress that becoming part of the Royal Family is a massive undertaking and the pressure and scrutiny is unrelenting. Was Meghan the right one?”
The chat did not go down well.
“Harry went mental,” said the friend. “He accused his brother of trying to finish his romance before it had begun. The brothers’ relationship has not really recovered.”
The Sun understands other senior members of the family also “had concerns” and voiced them to Harry.
A royal source said: “Meghan hoped Kate would show her the ropes. But, equally understandably, Kate was busy. She didn’t have as much time for her as Meghan would have liked. They were at very different places in their lives.
Meghan felt rebuffed… all these stories about her not listening and being demanding simply just aren’t true! It’s Kate’s fault!
Harry did not take this lightly and spoke to William about making Meghan feel welcome. William, of course, took his wife’s side — after all, she was following his lead.
In February, the Fab Four appeared on stage together for the first time to talk about their Royal Foundation charitable work.
Host Tina Daheley asked them: “Working together as a family, do you ever have disagreements about things?” Cue nervous laughter.
Meghan looked down, Kate fiddled with her hair and they left it to William, who answered with a very direct: “Oh yes.”
Harry then joked that there are so many clashes that “they come so thick and fast.” When asked if they’d been “resolved”, Wills jokingly replied: “We don’t know!” Could he have been thinking about Harry’s new role as a youth ambassador for the Commonwealth? Wills’ nose was reportedly put out of joint when the Queen gave the plum job to his brother instead of him.
Afterwards William had to be cajoled into doing anything for the Commonwealth, say courtiers.
But aides point out that if he’d wanted to veto Harry’s appointment, he could have done so. However, the tension didn’t help matters, coming as it did before May’s Royal Wedding.
Ah, yes, William, future Prince of Wales and likely future Head of the Commonwealth, is jealous of Harry’s made up position of Commonwealth Youth Ambassador….
Meghan’s father Thomas Markle was about to pull out of walking his daughter down the aisle after it was revealed he had posed for paparazzi pictures. Calm but collected, Meghan decided her team should say nothing publicly and cut him off.
However, William — having lost his mum — couldn’t understand ignoring a parent, whatever they’d done. He thought Meghan was making a mistake.
Meghan is said to be far less intimidated by the royals than might be supposed. At a recent gathering of senior family members, including Meghan, one well-placed aide remarked: “All their IQs put together would not equal hers.”
The bolthole is used to entertain friends like Priyanka Chopra and Nick Jonas — now her husband — Serena Williams and George and Amal Clooney.
William and Kate also swerved a board meeting oft he Royal Foundation this week, leaving Harry and Meg to go alone.
They also missed the Christmas Party, with one insider saying: “it ‘was a shame’ they didn’t attend.”
The source added: “Not only were Harry and Meghan there, but they went to the staff Christmas party afterwards.
“It was a very jolly affair. It’s a shame that William and Catherine did not turn up.’”
Then Wills and Kate turned down an invite to the Castle of Mey with Harry, Meghan and Charles in June. And while the Cambridges holidayed with Zara and Mike Tindall, Peter and Autumn Phillips and their kids at Balmoral in August, Harry and Meghan were absent.
If ‘News of The World’ publishing house was still functioning, like it
was at the time of all royal girlfriends including Catherine, Meghan
would never have been able to marry into the BRF.
The weekend has barely begun and a rehashed article is already out there. Anyone remember the cv articles from first time around? I think she had them pulled down.
What the actual F***?! These people are just as crazy as she is! It pisses me off how miss queen sugar B**** doesn’t speak out against her rabid fans bullying and threatening people like this!
Catherine taking Charlotte to a public loo is top news on DM. Yeah right, no one cares about the Cambridges. You need to reassess when a 3 year old’s loo habits becomes top news! LMAO!!
You can’t demand respect, Meghan – you have to earn it like Kate Middleton did
By Jane Moore
AFTER a decade of merely smiling enigmatically at peskily inquisitive reporters, Carole Middleton is suddenly singing like a hyperactive canary.
At the weekend she gave chapter and verse to a newspaper supplement on what Christmas will be like in the Middleton household, and now there she is beaming from the pages of December’s Good Housekeeping magazine while surrounded by festive props.
You can’t demand respect, Meghan- you have to earn it like Kate Middleton did. PA:Press Association
“I’m not a celebrity and don’t want to be one,” she once said. So why the apparent change of heart?
But as the fallout rumours are fairly recent and most glossy mags are laid out six weeks in advance, may I humbly/cynically (take your pick) suggest that the stall she’s laying out might be more monetary than motherly?
In other words, building up traffic to her and husband Michael’s Party Pieces website for Christmas in preparation for potentially flogging it off to an overseas billionaire in the pre-Brexit New Year.

But I digress. On Christmas Day I will be enduring (“enjoying”, surely? — Ed) our annual family fallout over a game of Monopoly. But if I wasn’t, I’d be straight round to Middleton Towers in Bucklebury, Berks, for what sounds like an idyllically festive few days.
In a Christmas walnutshell, it goes something like this: Wake up whenever, pop in to the local church, go for a walk, open a few pressies, smoked salmon and champagne for lunch, more pressies, some games, then the main meal early evening.
Oh, and all the grandchildren will have a small tree in their bedrooms that they can decorate themselves. The rest of the year, she says, “is really normal most of the time”. Which, to Prince William, who has grown up amid the pomp and circumstance of stuffy royal traditions, must feel like a slice of sheer heaven.
Instead, poor love, he and Kate are expected to join the rest of the royals (including Harry and Meghan) at Sandringham, where the Queen et al stick to the German tradition of opening gifts on Christmas Eve before dressing for a “formal dinner” from which, oh dear, the women eventually retire to another room while the men enjoy a port or brandy.

Then it’s off to the highly publicised visit to St Mary’s Magdalene church on Christmas morning, followed by a turkey lunch and a communal viewing of “Granny’s” speech at 3pm.
It’s unclear when William and Kate will head off to see her family, but what’s the betting they get in the car with fixed grins before mumbling “thank God that’s over for another year” the second they hit Norfolk’s A148? And that’s why, whatever the truth behind the rumours that Kate and Meghan aren’t getting on, it won’t matter one jot to the admirably grounded Duchess of Cambridge who, thanks to her idyllic childhood, knows exactly who she is.
Meghan, on the other hand, has no such cosy alternative to retreat to. Her parents divorced when she was just six years old and it’s no secret that she’s now estranged from her father Thomas and his highly vocal, deliciously off-message side of the family.
So, however well meaning she is, all her charitable grandstanding and repeated declarations of being “an independent woman” suggest she finds validation from being regarded as a, yawn, groundbreaking feminist role model rather than, as Kate is dismissed by some, a dutiful wife and mother, who toes the royal line and doesn’t make waves.
Meghan will need to quietly earn respect from her new family rather than noisily demand it. AP:Associated Press
But Kate has no need to virtue signal because she’s rooted in the love and respect of her tight-knit family — a set-up she’s replicating with William, who, after his own fractured childhood, clearly adores the normality of life Chez Middleton.
And of course, they’re both equally secure in the knowledge that, post-“King Charles”, the top job is theirs.
Harry, on the other hand, has chosen a bride who, despite her efforts at reinvention, has a chequered past (join the club, dear) and a burning desire to be seen as more than just a pretty appendage to the sixth-in-line to the throne.
That’s understandable. But just like Kate did, it’s far better to quietly earn respect not noisily demand it.
Piers Morgan has invited Meghan Markle to make-up with him over drinks – despite labelling her a ‘social climber’ for blanking him when she met Prince Harry.
The Good Morning Britain presenter repeated criticism of the Duchess of Sussextoday, claiming she has ‘cut off’ people when she does not need them – or they could endanger her royal reputation.
Yesterday, Piers revealed the pair had been friends but he was ‘ghosted’ by the Suits actress who married Prince Harry in May.
Today, he continued criticism.
He said: ‘She knew I was a journalist when I followed her on Twitter she messaged me saying ‘I’m a big fan’.
‘I feel the pattern with Meghan – whether the ex being chopped of the family or the father whose been chopped – or me on a much smaller level– she called me a friend on Twitter – came to my pub drank my drinks and then… whoosh… gone.
‘She’s a bit of a cut and runner. She’s trying to protect the bigger prize
‘She wants important people. Now she’s best friends with Michelle Obama and the Clooneys.
‘None of the family allowed near her they might damage the brand
‘It was all a bit odd.’
Mr Morgan also said a mutual friend of theirs was encouraged to break off his relationship with the journalist.
Suits cast member, Rick Hoffman – who played Louis Litt – was also friends with Piers but soon stopped talking to him.
Mr Morgan said: ‘It wasn’t painful it was curious. It left be bemused.
‘We’d been corresponding with another guy from suits for a year or so and it’s weird behaviour.
‘Our mutual friend was also told to ghost me
‘He crawled out of the woodwork after the wedding
‘He said ‘I love you pal’.
Piers also invited Meghan to make up with him at his local – the Scarsdale Tavern in Kensington – close to her new home in Kensington Palace.
He said when they met there before she was unknown and asked him for advice with her media career.
He said: ‘Maybe she was on an inexorable charge to the top. I take people as I find them… Meghan is disappointing
‘When I knew her nobody knew who she was – she came to my pub and nobody knew who she was.
‘If she wants to come to my Christmas drinks, come on down.’
Writing for the Daily Mail Morgan said he packed Meghan off in a taxi the night she met Harry.
He wrote: ‘She spoke very candidly about her family – there were some private, sensitive things she told me I would never repeat because they were said in confidence – Donald Trump (she’s not a fan), and of course, Suits.
‘She asked me for advice on her career and the media, and if she could come on Good Morning Britain next time she was over, which I said I would arrange.
‘From the cab, Meghan sent me a series of texts thanking me and saying she was looking forward to meeting up again next time we were in the same city.
‘She even publicly tweeted about how nice it was to see her ‘friend’ – me – in London.
‘So at this point, I was indeed labouring under the massive misapprehension that we were friends.
‘I was wrong.
‘She met Prince Harry at the dinner that night, went on a solo date with him the next night, and I never heard from her again.
“I think I admire Kate most for the way she handled herself in the early years of dating William. It would be shocking and unnerving for any very young adult to be thrust into such an aggressive spotlight the way she was, and she handled it all with grace. I don’t know that I would have had such poise as people yelled “whore” and “bitch” at me just to get a picture.” – Anon
People forget she was just in her early 20s when the media hounding started. Diana was a royal bride at 19, Catherine was a royal girlfriend at 19. I still find it baffling at Catherine’s phone was hacked 115 times!
The Duchess of Sussex made a surprise appearance at a meeting of academics in London on Wednesday.
Pregnant Meghan, 37, visited King’s College London in an unannounced engagement, it emerged this evening.
The royal, who is expecting her first child with Prince Harry next spring, joined academics for a round table discussion on how higher education can be used to tackle global issues like human trafficking, modern slavery and gender equality.
The Duchess looked polished yet relaxed in a simple short-sleeved fitted black sweater and kept a pen in hand as she jotted down notes in a notebook.
Meghan’s attendance at the meeting of The Association of Commonwealth Universities (ACU) was not publicised ahead of time, as is the case with the majority of royal engagements.
The event was publicised after the fact when Laura Hammond, professor of development studies at SOAS University London, tweeted: ‘We had an excellent discussion about how research can tackle the problems of slavery and human trafficking. Thanks to HRH Duchess of Sussex for joining us!’
Her tweet was shared alongside a photo of Meghan, sitting at the head of a table and looking engaged as another attendee spoke.
The ACU said the event was an opportunity to explore how higher education can help build a better world.
Discussions focused on the role of universities in addressing human trafficking and modern slavery, gender equality and inclusion, peace and reconciliation, and climate change and resilience.
The event follows her speech to students at the University of the South Pacific in Fiji in October.
Meghan spoke at the time of her struggle to finance her higher education and her ‘personal feeling of pride and excitement’ when she studied for her degree.
She described the education of women and girls in developing countries as ‘vital’, and called higher education’s impact ‘incredible, impactful and pivotal’.
That looks like a fembot-glazed stare right there. Is she still awake? Her eyes look kind of…dead inside.
Just remember – for any of the blogs out there saying that this is coming from the Cambridges only – or that it’s completely made up, this was in THE TIMES this weekend. And THE TIMES doesn’t print anything royal without approval.
I’m not convinced the source in that recent article is originating out of Buckingham Palace. I suspect it’s someone throwing a fit in Nott Cott–cough, Meghan–at this point. We’re seeing a clear tit-for-tat relationship with the recent Mail on Sunday article. Someone is afraid of looking bad, and I don’t think it’s the Cambridges.
Yesterday it was claimed that, in a sign of the iciness between the two
couples, William and Kate, both 36, had opted to spend Christmas with
the Middleton family in Bucklebury, Berkshire. Harry and Meghan would be
at Sandringham, possibly with Meghan’s mother, Doria.
I don’t think Doria will be there unless something happens with the baby. There’s no real reason for her to be there.
Oh! Now this is the kind of investigative journalism I expect and love from the Mail on Sunday! Let’s enjoy the best parts!
Part 1:
With the stream of disclosures threatening to become a torrent, The Mail on Sunday understands courtiers at Kensington Palace have started a ‘mole hunt’ in an attempt to stop leaks to the media that have led to so many unfavourable reports.
Ah, yes! Meghan wants to know who is leaking these bad stories about her without her permission! KP = Meghan here. Because, let’s face it, Will and Kate aren’t suffering from these leaks, so I doubt they care. And Buckingham Palace (THE QUEEN) and Clarence House (Prince Charles) aren’t mentioned, so let’s face it, they don’t care about the leaks either!
Part 2:
Meghan, who has worked hard to master her new Royal brief, is well-liked not just by the public, but by her new father-in-law, Prince Charles. He admires her work ethic and shares an interest in the arts.
Just a reminder here, that there is no tiff with the future king, as the Mail on Sunday would like to remind the public. He is taking the high road and being a supportive father-in-law. He has no negative feelings regarding Meghan that he would like to make public.
Part 3:
But the MoS understands that the unease between the Cambridges and the Sussexes is more long-standing and has been deeper than has so far been suggested.
So… the long-standing rumors are true!!
Part 4:
As early as last Christmas, well before the May wedding, Meghan was suggesting she didn’t feel entirely welcome with all members of the family. And it was in response that Charles attempted to smooth things over by engineering an invitation to Anmer Hall – William and Kate’s country home near Sandringham. He hoped it might bring the couples together.
Prince Charles: “My dear son, we cannot change your brother’s mind about marrying Meghan. Time to make the best of it. Harry insists she’s staying here for Christmas and not returning to America. Your Grandmother won’t allow Harry and Meghan to share a room at Sandringham, you know. She’s quite old-fashioned. Can you host Harry and Meghan?”
Prince William: “[Sigh]. Fine.”
Part 5:
It didn’t go well. Indeed, one well-placed source says the occasion was marred by a ‘ghastly row’ between the couples – one reason there will be no repeat this Christmas. A senior Royal aide has revealed that the atmosphere at Anmer soured shortly after Harry and his then fiancee had arrived, and Meghan was judged to have been ‘downright rude’.
Meghan rude? Why do I feel like I’ve heard this adjective attributed to her before? Hmmm….
Part 6:
At any rate, the atmosphere was ‘poisonous’ for a while, continues the aide, and only thawed with a visit by Charles, who was told by William what had happened and did his best to jolly everyone along.
This is by no means an isolated example of Meghan’s supposed high-handedness, according to chatter in Royal circles.
So, you’re saying there’s a pattern…
Part 7:
This newspaper has learned from one of William’s closest friends that the Prince had doubts about how suitable Meghan might be as his brother’s bride – and that he voiced them.
It is understood William’s concerns reached the ears of the Queen and, more pertinently, of Harry himself. One member of William’s circle told the MoS: ‘The problem is that the Cambridges felt things had moved very quickly between Harry and Meghan. Wills particularly was worried and felt close enough to Harry to voice his thoughts.’
Well, Kensington Palace – I mean, Meghan – good luck trying to out the mole when it’s William himself!
Part 8:
It is understood that Kate has had a number of meetings over tea in which she has attempted to explain the rules of The Firm to Meghan – and that her advice didn’t go down well. Kate is said to have told friends she was very sad about what was happening and felt that Harry was ‘changing’.
Sorry, Kate. Didn’t you know that Meghan ALWAYS knows what she’s doing? She doesn’t need any advice! She knows everything about premieres, PR, red carpets…
Part 9:
And with the celebrity associates, it seems, come celebrity anxieties.
So uncomfortable have they grown with a steady stream of media disclosures, it seems that Harry and Meghan are now determined to bring them to a halt.
It will be fascinating to see just what or who the Royal ‘mole-hunt’ unearths.
Yes, Meghan, what are you going to do when it’s THE QUEEN, Charles, and/or William leaking the stories??
The problem I have with Papa Markle “working with Meghan” is that everything ends up worse. And then Samantha chimes in addition to what her father said.
Also, I’d note that the Express storydoes not quote Papa Markle directly. The entire article is through other “sources.”
Same thing with The Sun article. It’s a “friend” of Thomas Markle. They didn’t talk to him directly. And they have the same exact quotes as Express.
So, in this instance, it’s not that Papa Markle and Meghan are working together, it’s that her pr used Meghan as a “friend” of Thomas to voice her complaints. Thomas never spoke to those outlets. If he did, then they would have quoted him directly.
Buckle up Hadley Freeman they are just getting started. The thing is they are just now publishing the TRUTH about her and the majority know it. When the real dirt on her comes out y’all sugars, will be gobsmacked and we will be over here like… told ya so.
Yep, I think that’s why the sourcing in these articles recently aren’t so direct. People don’t understand that if people want the tea and to keep getting the tea themselves, they have to protect the source as well. Nobody is gonna rat out info on someone if it’s gonna be too big of liability to them (which leaking on the royals would be) which is why a lot of the sources go unnamed or fake names are made to protect their identities.
Let´s do the counting game, how many “REAL reasons” we will now get, to explain why they are moving away… but how they are still sooooooo totally loved by the entire family… and all is well, and everyone adores Rachel….
But fact is: You´re getting sent to Toad Hall with the Prince who turned out to be just a frog after all.
Right next to the graveyard, and the flight lane of TWO different airports above your head. I think lifestyle guru and new-age-church member Rachel Markle didn´t do her due diligence on Feng Shui…
“The proposition is deliciously intriguing.
Two brothers torn apart by a divorced American interloper… two
sisters-in-law, one dutiful, one showy, whose ill-concealed hostility
helps to prise apart the siblings once thought tied together for life by
their accident of birth.
It’s as if
the painful history of George VI and his brother, Edward VIII – who
abdicated for the love of his brash US bride, Wallis Simpson, to the
disgust of his sister-in-law, later Queen Elizabeth, the Queen Mother –
is being played out all over again.”
She’s just doing that because she thinks it will work in her favor when things hit the fan. It won’t work though. Her and this marriage have too many things against it rather than for it for them to choose her side and favour her in the end. Unless you hold some real power with press and media attention (which Meghan doesn’t since majority of all her press is orchestrated and manufactured, not authetic like for example Catherine’s), flattery doesn’t work Meg. Sorry.
Probably PR but I’d have to check again. Doria wants nothing to do with Meghan’s games, permanently, meaning she might come and visit but I doubt she’ll move there unless things get really bad and it’s necessary.
An investigation by The Sunday Times has established that more than 100 prostitutes are listed on websites as available for business in the building in the heart of Chelsea owned by the multimillionaire Christopher Moran.
The block, Chelsea Cloisters, has so many prostitutes using it as a base for paid sex that the men who frequent its corridors have referred to it as “Sodom and Gomorrah” and the “infamous 10 floors of whores”.
Its 670 apartments generate millions of pounds in rent or service charges for Moran’s company every year. Moran, 70, who has described himself as…
I assume she’s on that kind of visa currently because they’re working on her becoming a British citizen. Otherwise, I don’t really know since I’m not familiar with the UK visa system.
There are some things mentioned in that tax article such as having to pay taxes on her engagement ring that are kind of sketchy. I really don’t believe she’ll ever have to pay taxes on her engagement ring even if it is “from a foreign person.” It’s a normal gift.
Some of the other things are harder to prove such as the clothing. If she got a “freebie” regarding her designer clothing but returned it after it was publicly worn, then that would also be harder to claim as income. The IRS isn’t going to pop over to Kensington Palace and verify what is and isn’t in Meg’s closet.
Yes, the article does a good job in pointing out that all of her income poses problems to the royal family, BUT the IRS doesn’t have any legal authority to audit in the UK. So, everything is harder to prove.
Usually as long as you file and your return doesn’t look unreasonable, the IRS isn’t going to come after you. The IRS is greatly understaffed right now. They’re not going to go after Meghan just because the Daily Mail published an article.
Anyone hoping for “receipts” regarding her taxes is going to be disappointed since the IRS always does things privately. IRS doesn’t leak things to the press. Articles arguing the theoretical, like this one, will be all you see.
Yup. Harry will retain some of his standing since he is the future king’s brother, just like Margaret did. But he won’t be as popular once George, Charlotte, and Louis grow up.
