Meh. There is also no proof that Kate’s grandfather was telling the truth or remembered accurately. A birth certificate would be necessary to prove or disprove the 19:00 birth time, and it’s highly doubtful anyone will get their hands on something like that. Regardless, western astrologers have accepted it. It is given a Rodden Rating of “A.” You can read the source notes behind the 19:00 time here.
I think the 19:00 time works quite well from a Vedic astrology standpoint. Kate became engaged in October 2010. This coincides nicely with the beginning of her Mercury mahadasha in December 2010. Given that Mercury is in her 7th house and is in a parivartana yoga (mutual exchange) with her 7th house lord Saturn, this seems to be an accurate timing in her life.
Also, in her navamsha (marriage) chart, her 7th house is ruled by Leo, which is ruled by the Sun. The Sun is a karaka (indicator) of royalty, and it is placed in the 10th house (government, career). So, I would also take this as an indication that the 7 pm time is correct.

Well, technically Kate’s birth time isn’t officially known, apparently/supposedly a friend of Will & Kate’s gave an astrologer her birth time so that a compatibility chart could be done as a wedding gift. That birth time is 7 pm/1900, which is what most people go with now.
That birth time gives her a Cancer ascendant with her 7th house (marriage/partnership) and 5th house (romance) conjunct. Saturn ruling her 7th house, and Mars ruling her 5th house. Based on the connection between marriage and romance, I would safely say that Kate married for love.
This is just a post basically of all the questions that have been asked to me this week that I haven’t been able to answer and I just put it all in one post. Sorry for the delay, a lot has been going on personally this week which is why I’ve been more inactive than usually. -TT
“Why is MM cradling her bump so consistently?”
She wants to project the image of the “happy family” (Ten of Cups) even though there’s a lot of stress and conflict right now (Six of Swords Rx). I think she does this obviously for more attention (Star) but not in the normal attention-seeking way. Like she does it because I think she feels like very restricted (Four of Cups/Swords, Four of Pentacles) because of this pregnancy and her doing this is her way of rebelling or gaining that sense of control and power she feels like she’s losing (Three of Swords, Hierophant, Four of Pentacles, QOW) because of the tour (Hierophant,Six of Swords Rx). KP may be being much more strict on her and Harry, specifically her since she is pregnant, now (Heirophant/Four of Pentacles).
I think she’s very very isolated on this tour (Four of Cups) and very very bitter or sort of mean (Seven of Wands Rx/Three of Pentacles/Hanged Man Rx). She’s sort of petty and catty-like right now (Three of Cups Rx) and she needs to be careful because there, again like I saw before, might be someone in her camp who is going to spill the beans on this behavior if she isn’t careful (Three of Cups Rx). She’s got a spy in her camp. She’s very much in isolation and isn’t really talking to her friends-or they aren’t talking to her that much (Four of Swords/Three of Cups Rx). She feels a lack of freedom and feels very restricted (Four of Wands Rx) and this is her way of restoring control by highlighting the bump, which is weird (Devil Rx) and switching the narrative which hasn’t been the easiest since this is a tour and they have schedules to fulfill and points to hit before moving forward.
Her mood has been fluctuating a lot (Two of Pentacles), causing lots of rifts with Harry (Ten of Cups/Six of Swords Rx/Five of Swords/Hermit/Knight of Pentacles Rx). She’s sort of icy with Harry, I think more so the influence of the hormones (Two of Pentacles), but she’s sort of icy with Harry (Four of Swords/Four of Wands Rx) and their relationship is very routine-like right now (Knight of Pentacles Rx). She’s also very very forceful and sort of aggressive because of the hormones (Ace of Swords Rx/Chariot).
This is a major change for her (Death) and Harry (Two of Cups) and they don’t really know how to cope with it (Two of Pentacles) and Meghan feels undervalued right now (Six of Pentacles Rx) which is why she’s sort of doing this to gain that control and feel like the focus is on her when it is mostly on the tour and hitting all those points because when they didn’t have any restrictions or help, like this previous week, it turned into a mess. Notice how this week the charities are getting much more attention (even if it’s the smallest) than last week when it seems they had no control and were free-styling it.
“Why did MM leave her engagement in Fiji after six minutes?”
I think she wanted to go (House/Star/Key). I also think she had some sudden pain somewhere or some health issues of some sort as well (Cross/Scythe/Key). She felt like it was starting to unproductive/unhealthy for her to be there and wanted to go back home (House/Star/Scythe/Key). She also saw this as a way to benefit her publicly rather than get the backlash she did and thought (Garden/Clover), like, “oh, I’m sure they’ll understand” sort of situation. Again, the hormones are making her crazy y’all! She was getting impatient (Mice/Dog). Her motivation for attending was dwindling by the minute (Mice/Snake). I also think she was having some secret health issues as well and that’s why she left so abruptly, other than the fact her patience was thin and she wanted to be at home (Woman/Mice). I don’t think she was that prepared either, as per usual, (Book/Mice) and again, was unhealthy or had some sort of health issue that came up out of nowhere. I think there is this underlying conflict, which probably relates back to my first spread above, of her having conflict between wanting to follow her own agenda and following what she is being told to do by KP.
“How to KM feel about the banquet she attended yesterday?”
I think she very much enjoyed it. I think this was one of the times Kate really felt like she was in power (Bear/Tower) or sort of really played the role of “future queen” in a sense, like in her spirit. She was prepared and ready for this change (Ship) and this banquet was her really exploring her power and really feeling very confident about herself and her role. I’m guessing this is referencing the new glass order she got and her climbing up the ladder of power and presence in her position regarding that. Probably feeling very much empowered by wearing that, as a badge of honor in a sense. Though she was ready, she still was kind of nervous about taking the lead (Bear/Birds) but still very excited (Birds).Catherine didn’t have the tour on her mind and was putting all the gossip H&M were giving, across the pond (Ship), behind her and was focused on this banquet (Birds/Tower). #AnUnbotheredQueen
She carried herself with class and grace and dignity as usual (Tower/Tree) and though very nervous, tried to appear calm and reserved and kept together (Tree).
“How does MM feel about it?”
I think the news (Rider) made her feel held-back. I already talked before about how MM dislikes the power and influence that comes with Catherine’s position and this banquet was one of those things that sort of irked her (Mountain). Not in a very outward way though (Book), almost disliked it in silence. She’s putting on the facade she’s happy (Star) with it and some of that is true in a sense (Rider/House) but she still feels like once again, Kate is the big-bad wolf just coming to knock the shine off of her (Stork/Mountain). She feels like she’s blocking her bag as they say (even though their rich) and feels like Kate’s stopping her from going on and growing and going up as a royal. I feel like maybe this was not told to her or kept from her, probably to focus on the tour but also because of her hormones and her mood fluctuations, they didn’t want to take that chance of an explosion (Key/Book).

Yep, Tom Sykes/Lainey/Celebitchy et al are desperately trying to argue that the Cambridges are jealous and upset about all the attention that Harry and Meghan are getting, but I just don’t think that is the case.
Meghan is great for Will and Kate. They look mature, serious, discreet, and functional in comparison.
Kate’s outfits came across as a bit too girly and unprofessional before, but they are uber appropriate compared to Meghan’s un-ironed blouses, dirty shoes, and oversize bathrobe coats. Will looks more regal than Harry. Kate’s clothing bills appear frugal in comparison to Meghan’s. The Cambridge’s appearances, which used to seem too superficial, are better planned and a lot more substantive than Meghan and Harry’s.
Even Meghan’s crap family works in the Cambridge’s favor. Uncle Gary is no longer an issue. Carole is actually described as “staying behind the scenes” now. Pippa’s wedding was amazing (and discreet!) compared to Meghan’s. In addition, the Cambridges are now growing closer to the other royals.
I am not sure why the sugar gang is trying to spin the Cambridges as jealous or insecure. Meghan is the Fergie that Kate didn’t know she wanted.
Hey 🙂 So I do indeed keep a break down of how many pieces are repeats. How I do it is everything she wears is a piece in itself so if she wears the same watch at two events it’s counted as two items. And I also keep a record of how many have been worn before. Then I work out percentages. The only thing not included is unidentified pieces. I also keep a record of British brands so if I can’t identify the designer then I don’t include it at all. Luckily for Kate and Meghan there are very few unidentified pieces because they’re so closely followed. So these are Kate’s figures:
2018 (so far, not including yesterday because I haven’t done it yet): 65%
2017: 64%
2016: 56%
2015: 69%
2014: 63%
2013: 65%
2012: 45%
2011: 29%
Meghan’s repeat rate right now is 26% (again, a few days still to catch up on so that might change). So it is lower than Kate’s but not by a considerable amount. I think next year is the year to look out for as you’ll be able to see if her repeat rate stays low or if she was building up her wardrobe with the intent of repeating more things next year. Also in case anyone’s interested Sophie’s repeat rate is way sketchier in terms of accuracy but it’s way over 80%
I may compile a more detailed record so that people can see an entire year piece by piece to see where the number comes from.

fun fact. She is only the second granddaughter in law of a living sovereign to have a family order. The only other one is May, Duchess of York. E7, G5&6 did not have married royal grandsons.
So the traditional royal family order – the one worn by Camilla, Sophie, Diana – is made of ivory. William is an outspoken and active opponent of the illegal ivory trade, and has spent much of his royal life promoting conservation and combatting poachers, the illegal trade, that sort of thing. It was a theory that Catherine hadn’t yet gotten the order from HM because it’s made of ivory, and that would have been a slap in the face to William. Kate’s order is made of glass, which means HM consciously made a few decisions – first, to grant her granddaughter in law this very big honor, and second, to do it in a way that honors her grandson and eventual heir’s wishes. It’s a huge success for William and Catherine. Convincing HM to change anything isn’t easy, but at least one of them convinced HM to do this. It’s a really, really big deal.
It’s not a completion any more. I think you have it completely right when you say “it’s hard to think they’re representing the same thing.” They are NOT representing the same thing. Will and Kate are representing the monarchy and Meghan and Harry are off doing some weird taxpayer-funded celeb thing.
I don’t know, but Emily Andrews is low-key dissing Max and Kate. I think Kate’s dress can be criticized, but calling Max’s outfit “net curtains” is bizarre.
part 2) Kate is losing weight again. I assume she is just hard core exercise and dieting to loose the Louis weight and maybe is overdoing it. I hope it is not feeling threatened by Meg, bc there is NO competition there. When Kate got skinny before 2016?, I wondered if she and Will were having issues, and she was coping by dieting and exercising too much. I hope that is not the case now. He and the UK are lucky to have her.

Amidst a sea of sparkle at tonight’s Diplomatic Reception, the most spectacular news was that the Duchess of Cambridge received the Royal Family Order from Her Majesty! Traditionally the order was made of ivory, however, Catherine’s was created with glass instead – likely in honor of her husband, William. Catherine is only the second granddaughter in law of a living sovereign to have a family order.
I think it’s the mermaid skirt that gets on people’s nerves. Also the first pics were pretty bad. This picture is fantastic, though.
I like that she looks very comfortable with the jewelry. She’s not overwhelmed by it at all and the gown is a nice backdrop to all the bling. The clutch is really nice too.
She’s just quoting Tom Sykes who desperately wants William and Kate to be jealous of this circus. The weirdest part is where she says that maybe the Cambridges will step up and not be so “drab.” Drab? Has she even seen her faves? San Fran homeless people dress better than the Sussexes.
But no, Will and Kate are not jealous. This is the best thing that ever happened to them. I’m not even going to compare them. It’s too pathetic. There is NO competition. between the Cambridges and these two clowns.
Including me! Two years ago I would have been nitpicking Kate’s outfit with “why did she wear a dark color like burgundy to a celebratory event?” Now I’m all “OMG, color, yes!!!” because at least it’s not black.
