Raju the elephant spent over 50 years in India as a tourist attraction. He was beaten by his handlers, forced to “beg” for money from pedestrians, and was bound by painful chains. Elephants are highly evolved in their emotional intelligence, so this life had detrimental effects on Raju’s mental health. Luckily, Wildlife SOS obtained all the required paperwork and staged a covert rescue of Raju last summer. On July 6th Raju celebrated his 1 year anniversary of his freedom. Look how happy he is today, he even got a cake!!

You don’t talk, you watch talk shows. You don’t play games, you watch game shows. Travel, relationships, risk; every meaningful experience must be packaged and delivered to you to watch at a distance so that you can remain ever-sheltered, ever-passive, ever-ravenous consumers who can’t train themselves to rise from their couches to break a sweat, and participate in life.
Yeah I had no idea! At St Andrews you study your main choice and then you make up credits by studying other subjects that you don’t intend to do your degree in. I did Psychology, Ancient History and Film Studies for my first term. One of the options Kate did must have been Psychology. Honestly the fact I may have sat in the same seats as her during my lectures does make my university memories better hahaha
“Meghan’s black Safiyaa look is one of the ugliest outfits I’ve ever seen, no joke. The top doesn’t go with the skirt, it should be paired with cropped/cigarette trousers. The sequin and the straps made it look cheap af and reminds me something a teen would wear in late 90s-early00s. Safiyaa has much better designs yet she picks this…ugh.“ – Submitted by Anoynmous
Harry and Meghan should learn from Charles and Camilla, especially PDA
wise. CC do PDA in a very subtle way, seldom, and only when i doesn’t
draw too much attention.
In making plans to celebrate Thanksgiving, don’t forget: November is also Native American Heritage Month. Observing it won’t undo the atrocities that occurred over the past few centuries — or the current threats to Native Americans and their lands, such as the proposed Dakota Access Pipeline — but recognizing and celebrating those who were here first and are now marginalized is an important step in moving things forward. Especially if you missed Native American Day.
What is it you want, Mary? What do you want? You want the moon? Just say the word and I’ll throw a lasso around it and pull it down. Hey. That’s a pretty good idea. I’ll give you the moon, Mary. It’s a Wonderful Life (1946) dir. Frank Capra
“Camilla seems like such a wonderful lady and an amazing grandmother to the babies. You can tell how much she loves them in the family portrait for Charles’s 70th. So sweet and cute! She gets too much hate for things that aren’t her fault.“ – Submitted by Anonymous
Oh there’s so many! Those two are definitely in my choices as well. I picked a few out:
Alexander McQueen bustle coat dress- I love this. It’s refined and chic but it’s still got the quirky McQueen edge and it is reminiscent of the bustle on her wedding dress. I also love it with the black hat
Lavender Alexander McQueen gown- This is just ethereal and effortless and I’d love to see it with a tiara or some of the Queen’s jewels she’s borrowed since 2011.
Erdem dress- This one is glitzy but it isn’t tacky. Erdem and Kate can be hit or miss but this one is more restrained and that works really well
Chanel coat- This has some of the hallmarks of Kate’s style- fit and flare, bell sleeves- but it feels different because of the fabric. It’s like her style but elevated.
Rochas floral dress- This one was perfect for the occasion- the Chelsea Flower show- but I think it captures Kate’s style really well. It’s simple, feminine, classic.
LK Bennett dress- I love this dress. I think the colour works beautifully on Kate. The silhouette is one we see on her a lot but the fabric makes it feel different. I think it would be nice to see it in the daytime as last time she wore it for a meeting with the Obamas:
LK Bennett dress- We only saw this from a distance but I would love to see it properly. I’ve shown what we saw from Kate and then what it looks like properly
Paul & Joe cape- I would love to see her reimagine this cape. She wore it first time around to match her traditional skirt in Bhutan but I think it could look really cute with something else and I’d love to see her in more capes:
That would actually make a lot of sense. Would add up to why she’s allowed to do all this stuff now when it hasn’t been done that much before in previous royal wives but at the same time Meghan’s not a planner, so I can’t see her planning this far ahead with anything especially with all the drama she had leading up to the wedding.
So let me get this straight. Meghan wanted to get into politic and
humanities to help change the world so she thought the best way to do
that was to to become…an actress??? She started out right by studying
international politics or what ever in college. But I think she realized
it was really hard and slow moving, often disappointing work during her
internship. I just don’t understand how she made the leap to actress.
Until recently being a celebrity was a terrible way to get into
politics. In the late 90/early 2000 it would have been laughable to
think an actor/celeb would be good in politics. I think she decided she
didn’t want to do any of the hard work it takes to actually make a
difference in the word and realized she just likes the attention
Hi anon. Quite true as I just stated to that anon. We have all speculated on how MM could get to this point but Harry showed us the real truth on the Aus tour. Yes MM used her social climbing skills with her acting on Suits to meet these people who led her to Harry but the reality is that Harry chose her and played with the media. She has manipulated him as he isn’t bright and a narc is good at playing the victim for sympathy which he believes. From the tiara story it’s crysta clear that Harry did have massive hissyfits to the RF to get her to the altar.
It’s his mess and he has to deal with it as she embarrasses him and the BRF. Anon Harry showed us all that he has no interest in the Royal work. He showed everyone that he wants to live the celebrity lifestyle with the perks which the Royal title provides him with.
The whole thing about him wanting out of the BRF is pure BS. That’s him telling the media to leave him alone and that he wants to be normal so he can live the lifestyle he wants without the criticism of not working hard like his father and grandmother. Well he isn’t smart because it’s not working as he too uses the media for fame when It suits him.
Those wedding dresses weren’t that good in the first place and they weren’t anything special at all. I could find the same type of dress at a David’s Bridal down the street from where I live. It just shows once again Meghan has no weight when it comes to brand appeal. I mean it’s a royal wedding dress, that should boost the sales through the roof not hurt them. Maybe she should have put some more effort into the dress and came up with a more original design like previous royal brides and people would actually want to copy the style. Doesn’t suprise me she got hit with the “Markle-effect” lmao.

EVENING DRESS | Worn for a State Banquet at Schloss Brühl, during the State Visit to Germany, May 1965.
The ornate embroidery over the bodice of this dress was inspired by the rococo interiors of the palaces at Schloss Brühl, which Hardy Amies thoroughly researched prior to The Queen’s historic visit to the country, the first to take place since before the Second World War.
The Queen also chose to wear this dress for a series of official photographs taken by Cecil Beaton in the White Drawing Room at Buckingham Palace in 1968 | The Royal Collection Trust.
