“There’s something just so off about the Greek royal family especially Marie-Chantal. Prince Pavlos seems so genuine, and genuinely cares about his home country, and so does Prince Nikolaos. Constantine, Olympia, Alexios and Marie-Chantal though all seem to just have this vibe surrounding them screaming “hey!! I’m rich and all I care about is my privilege and fame!”“ – Submitted by Anonymous

Because Marie-Chantal (née Miller) is an American heiress. Her father is a billionaire. And her children (technically not princes nor princesses of Greece since they were born after the Greek monarchy was abolished) are also American heirs/heiresses.

“In other words: Norway is you. Norway is us (…) My greatest hope for Norway is that we will be able to take care of one another. That we will continue to build this country – on a foundation of trust, solidarity and generosity of spirit. That we will feel that we are, despite all out differences, one people. That Norway is one.” – 79-year-old King Harald V of Norway celebrating the diversity of his people and stressing the importance of support for refugees, religious tolerance and LGBT rights in a speech on 1 September 2016

“Kate never let anything get in the way of a official visit abroad. She performed well and showed up to all planned activities being sure not to disappoint. Meghan just does not get it. This trip has been planned well before her pregnancy, maybe she should have planned around it instead of allowing it to take over the visit.” – Submitted by Anonymous

The census is basically the DNA for our democracy. It is the baseline for which so many things are done. The census determines how $675 billion is distributed to states and localities. The census determines how legislative districts are drawn. The census determines the composition of the Electoral College. So if this question about citizenship is added to the census, places like California and New York and Texas — which actually, funnily enough, is a red state — they could receive fewer members of Congress, they could have less influence in the Electoral College, they could have less money going to their states. And then places like Kansas, where there are fewer immigrants, where it’s a lot whiter and more Republican, they’re going to have more political power if this question about citizenship is added to the census like Kris Kobach wants.

At Osu Castle on Saturday, it was especially important to me, as indeed it was on my first visit there 41 years ago, that I should acknowledge the most painful chapter of Ghana’s relations with the nations of Europe, including the United Kingdom.

The appalling atrocity of the slave trade, and the unimaginable suffering it caused, left an indelible stain on the history of our world.

“I’m so sick and tired of hearing about Meghan and Harry’s tour of Australia. When William and Kate did their first few tours, people were more focused on what engagments they were doing and what causes they were supporting. With Meghan and Harry it’s a circus, with people only focusing on the fact that she’s pregnant, rather than the Invictus Games which is super important to honor veterans who fought for our freedoms.“ – Submitted by Anonymous

What would you say is the difference between yourself and a tinhat? I’m asking you because I think a lot of the tinhats are totally crazy and I wouldnt go near them with a barge pole. But I can see you have a concience which makes you different. And I just wanted to know if you think they are tinhats cos sometimes you reblog them.

Hi! Thanks for the question. So sometimes, I reblog posts that they have made from other blogs. But they are really out there. They post weird things like calling Meghan and her child a demon or whatever. They take it a bit far. I have even seen some say that she is a witch controlling Harry. Thats a bit too much. For me personally, there is a line. First of all, I judge facts. I judge the fact that she has ghosted her family, spent a fortune on her clothes, and both her and Harry have acted like celebrities. And for me speculation should only go as far as guessing what certain actions mean. For example, if there are a surge of anti-William articles, we can speculate who is putting them out there. And most importantly, NOT TO WISH ANYTHING BAD FOR HER. As much as I dislike her personality, no one has the right to wish them to die or whatever else I say. Its only sad how much hate they have for her. Yeah, she is a trashy person, but it is wrong to be such a bully.

I hope that answered your question 🙂

I’m sure I come off as an aggressive bitch, but you gotta admit this whole farce is hilarious. I know I am the enemy, but I agree with everything said above.

“Meghan needs to start following protocol. Anytime Kate slips people bash her for it, Meghan should be held up to the same standard now that she’s in the firm.“ – Submitted by Anonymous

“Meghan can’t follow royal protocol if her life depended on it. Her curtsies are atrocious, her skirt lengths are inappropriate, and she has zero respect for the Queen (ie turning her back on her, not wearing a fascinator when the Queen did). If Kate did any of this stuff she would have been raked over coals for it, so Meghan does not deserve an easy pass. She either needs to shape up and stand with the firm, or get out. The BRF was built on tradition, and it’s not going to change for her.” – Submitted by Anonymous

Oh they’re going to need salvation.

Not just making it illegal, but making being gay punishable with death.

This is one of the many reasons why I walk by every single red bucket in the run-up to Christmas. They’re not getting my money, I don’t care how nice the people ringing bells are.

Ever since the time they threatened to close all their soup kitchens in NYC if a law that did something as simple as allow companies to extend spousal benefits to their employee’s same-sex domestic partners I have refused to buy from them or donate to them.

It’s that time of year again! In case people don’t know… the Salvation Army is shitty peoples.

Also, the married women are not paid (and therefore can’t qualify for assistance if they should ever divorce, etc). And worth “of course” less than a man.

In the Army’s case, the agreement for compensation is that the officer allowance be paid jointly to the husband—the check is written in his name. Officially, the wife is a “worker without expectation of remuneration,” and her husband receives 40 percent more of an allowance as a married man than he would as a single man.

hey since that season is coming up again!

Don’t abuse the bell ringers unless they get aggressive, but don’t give them a bent penny.

We should be more pro-active or we’ll see more of such sad fates of honest people.

And the utterly ironic thing is I’ve seen repeated tumblr posts of that iconic photo absolutely slagging the shit out of Peter Norman as “lol white guy so uncomfortable”   “Why the fuck isn’t he supporting them”, etc etc.

As an Australian this post surprised me. I knew none of the above.
