I really like the headpiece itself. I think with the dress and the bag it’s a bit matchy matchy. Even for Kate, who loves matchy matchy. It’s just very blue. Exactly. That’s another reason I personally don’t believe the blackmail or coercion theory. The Queen is way too powerful to let someone as small as Meghan, a C some argue B- list, actress to come in and have all that effect on the BRF. She’s in Hollywood, so yes she may have made the right connections to meet him and power regarding that since actors/singers/models can run in the same circles that politicians/royals/high-profile people do if they wish, but to full on bag him and marry him, absolutely NOT. If she really was such a threat they would have nipped that mess in the bud a LONG time ago. They’ve fought bigger battles than Meghan Markle lmao. It’s hypocritical in my opinion to say the Queen has the power and trust the Queen, but say Meghan has the power to blackmail and force her way in as a duchess at the same time. They would have to be on the same level to be able to do that and Meghan is nowhere on the Queen’s level.

You know I just realized. While she’s talking about herself, her dress, her big day, everyone else will be talking about the Queen.

She could’ve easily talked about her first time meeting the queen, or meeting her corgis, or going on an engagement with her. It’s almost like they know she has nothing substantial to offer about someone she’s seen as much as we’ve seen the two of them together in pictures. They were safer including her and letting her do what she does best, talking about herself.

I may start turning the blog into #divorcewatch or something like that because I do not even see the point of applying royal standards to this woman or comparing her to Kate or any of the other royals. Meghan is NOT a royal and is not even slightly interested in living up to any standards.
She half-assed it after the wedding to check off all the royal events and establish her royal “brand,” but that’s it. She’s now gone full celeb, and it’s a bit like following Countess Luanne and her latest boy toy. Yes, Luanne was technically a Countess and very amusing and exciting to follow, but there was nothing even slightly aristocratic about her at all. Meghan is like that. She’s technically a duchess, but it’s just a name. Outside of that she’s just another C-list celeb trying to sell herself as a humanitarian lifestyle maven.

Exactly! At this point, how is Meghan any different from Priyanka? She has a title and taxpayer funding and that’s it.
And I think that’s why interest is flagging right now. What makes the royals interesting is precisely the fact that they have to follow all of these rules. It’s clear that Meghan is not subject to anything, so what’s the point.
I have a feeling the American brands will be huge during the Australian tour-Carolina Herrera, Ralph, etc.. Jess was in NYFW doing the rounds. Meghan will likely wear whoever was making a big push during that week. Unfortunately, I don’t follow fashion that much and don’t know who that was.
