When you say “More worries about articles saying that she cheated Cory with him (H)/about who was paying the rent when Harry went to Toronto” do you mean he’s worried about the public knowing/it being published or he’s worrying whether it’s true (like he’s just finding out) I think he knew beforehand but it was an adrenaline rush for him. I could be wrong, but he seems the type to enjoy “taking someone’s girl”

nycrealroyal:

About the public knowing that she cheated Cory with him and that he stayed at her house in Toronto while Cory, the goat, was paying the rent. This won’t go down smoothly with the public. 😘

Today’s event was hard to watch. I no longer believe MM is fooling or *has* fooled Harry. Something else is at play. But even for an “arrangement”, she’s the wrong fit, and she’s blundered into a big mistake. She’s “leveraged” herself into a dead end. It’ll be a disaster, and it’s painful to see. I don’t see him as a victim because he could a) call it off, and b) get some courage and live honestly as someone mentioned. I don’t know his secrets, but there’s something fishy here.

I thing the other things at play are that he loves the press attention and was desperate to keep his place in the limelight, LOL, they do have that in common.

They legit toasted the leaking of the relationship. That, I think says it all,

Eartha Kitt speaking truth to power at a 1968 luncheon at the White House hosted by Lady Bird Johnson which resulted in Kitt being blacklisted in the US for nearly a decade.

let it be known that on January 18th, 1968, Eartha Kitt stood in a room full of white women at The Women Doers Luncheon, GOT IN LADYBIRD JOHNSON’S FACE, and told her that the government was sending the best of the youth off to be shot and killed and, in not so many words, that THAT was the reason the youth were rebelling. She ALSO stopped President Johnson after he made a statement claiming that mothers should be responsible for stopping their kids from becoming criminals and asked about “the parents who have to go to work, for instance, who can’t spend time with their children as they should”. It was brushed off by LBJ who only mentioned the funding for day care centers put in place by the recently passed Social Security bill, and then more or less said that the women at that luncheon should figure it out for themselves.

She was blacklisted, but she defended every word she said that day.

Side notes

1) “Why are you back NYC? So strange, because right after this or that happened..I find it weird” – I didn’t need to be on here, I don’t need to participate in something (conspiracy theories) if I don’t find its healthy or a real meaning for it. Or better yet, that they are real. Besides, I got a life outside tumblr, job, family and friends and wouldn’t waste my well being on an issue that at the end of the day is meanless.

2) I was requested to come back due the amount of reports to Clarence House, Kensington Palace and The Royal Family twitter account about Meghan. No, I don’t support her, no I don’t think she fits in and yes it will end in tears. Its Harry choice, not yours. The problem is that a group of people are doing, let’s call it the “unhealthy hate”/“sick stalking”, creating stuff about where isn’t any, or maybe there is, but be sure, they know. They truly do. MI6 and Scotland Yard did their job. HER MAJESTY GAVE HER CONSENT. If she likes Meghan or not isn’t the issue. Harry wants her to be his wife, so let it be. I agree she is a train wreck, not doing any favors to the Monarchy and all that the normal ‘girlies/boys’ think.

3) Last time: I DON’T LURK AROUND ON TUMBLR, I DON’T SEND ANONS. I DO USE VPN, PORT CHESTER ISN’T IN NEW YORK CITY. WHEN YOU CHAT THROUGH THE APP YOU CAN’T TRACK PEOPLE’S IP!

4) I also received 2 pics from a blonde woman claiming that was a blogger. I asked another blogger privately (an adult way to solve an issue) if she knew who that person was. She said she didn’t. I deleted those pics. No clue who sent them or who was on them. This claim that I am harassing people on here is childish and show more about than about myself. Besides, its false accusation of a crime and its a crime. So bring it on your lawyers (make sure to be good ones), because I will bring mine.

5) I don’t know how many days I will come on here, but I will answer your questions.

Thank you,

Take care!

🎶What am I gonna do with her? What am I gonna do with her?🎶

Well, looking at the weather in London, it’s supposed to be warmer tomorrow than it was today.

So, I’m guessing MM will be wearing another ill-fitting, summer dress that would only be appropriate outdoors at a garden party.

The Cultural and Political Forces Behind Kendrick Lamar’s Pulitzer

newyorker:

When Kendrick Lamar won the Pulitzer Prize for music, on Monday, he also became the first non-jazz or classical artist to collect that honor in its seventy-five-year existence. (“There’s a Pulitzer for music?” was, unfortunately, the early refrain on social media.) That Lamar was born and raised in Compton, California, and writes deft and nimble rap songs about systemic injustice, made the announcement especially thrilling. It felt like a decisive dismantling of fusty ideas about high and low art and, especially, who gets to claim genius as his own. As my colleague Doreen St. Félix wrote, “The Pulitzers got it right.”

The Pulitzer board, like most award-granting institutions, still needs to be mindful of the cultural and political forces that inevitably inform its choices—of the seventy-one Pulitzer Prizes presented in Music, somehow only seven (!) have gone to women. (The first woman to garner one, Ellen Zwilich, received it in 1983—a staggering forty years after William Schuman collected the début Pulitzer in music.) Genius, of course, still has its invisible boundaries. But Lamar’s win nonetheless feels like a victory of sorts for everyone, a promise that true excellence is—as it should be—very difficult to ignore.

This is a shining beacon of hope for… Oh, I don’t know… let’s say a young boy growing up in Rhode Island with six brothers, pretending to go to soccer practice when he was really going to sewing class and reading Runway under the covers at night with a flashlight.” – The Devil Wears Prada (2006)
