Yeah, I was surprised about that one too. Assuming she really did make contact with the Suits people, I would guess that she’s prepping herself for the next shooting season. So not this current season but the next one. Episodes have to be written before they’re filmed. So if she’s really interested, she would need to let them know before they start writing, which I assume would be springtime 2019.
It’s a rumor that I’m not going to put much weight behind until there’s more evidence. I also think that the Suits team would probably be reluctant to have her back. I seem to remember hearing that she was difficult to work with behind the scenes, so why have her back unless they really had to? Well, they don’t have to, so she’s at their mercy.
Oh, I think she’s pregnant. I don’t think Megs is as far along as she said she was when it was announced. I think she was probably 10 weeks along maximum when it was announced, and I’m not super convinced she was even that far along when she announced.
I suspect Will and Kate’s attitude probably has to do with a number of things, such as:
Will and Kate have a number of reasons not to be super happy about the situation.
I suspect what galls people behind the scenes even further is Megs lack of regular health precautions while pregnant. What is known and suspected at this point includes:
Drinking (champagne without food on a solo flight to Canada)
Partying at Soho House, which includes more drinking.
And that’s just what I can think of offhand. Will and Kate likely know more, and they’re probably appalled. They know what it means to keep the mother and the baby healthy during a pregnancy. Megs clearly isn’t doing the same. Meg’s recklessness is appalling. And it clearly speaks to the reckless attitude she would have when she’s a mother.
So I’m not surprised that Will and Kate haven’t issued a public congratulations. They’re probably still bracing for impact for another episode of assholery from the Duchess of Mean!

Good point. It probably was a combination of things. We’ve all been watching Harry and Meghan’s ongoing Hollywood-ization of the brf with open-mouthed horror, wondering how they were being allowed to do all this. I’m glad that someone finally put their foot down.
The tour really was beyond the pale. They were supposed to represent the country and the royal family, while promoting royal initiatives like Invictus, the scholarship program, and the Commonwealth canopy, and instead they promoted themselves and their bump.
1. H&M didn’t send out thank you notes. A WEEK ago someone on KP staff sent out a form letter in lieu of a thank you note on behalf of H&M. Not even signed by them or from them. From a staff person apologizing for no note. The assumption is that they were jealous of a story about Eugenie handwriting thank you notes. It came out that they never sent them, so a staffer got to send the form letters.

Just a heads up this is a lengthy read.
Several weeks ago a childhood friend of mine came to our home town to visit. He is an actor. He has study at Juilliard He has been on Broadway, movies, and several tv shows. Heck, he has even been nominated for a Tony a couple of years back. I’m going to remain his name anonymous.
I asked him if he has ever met Meghan Markle or know any stories about her.
Well, he has met her and did he have stories.
In 2014 through a connection he had an audition for Suits. He was only going to be on two episodes. He had a reading with several actors. One of them was with MM. She came off rude, distrustful and any other negative description you can think of. She didn’t like my friend because he was 5’8. And, gave him a hard time. They had a short conversation about his experience. She walked away when he told her that he went to Juilliard. Several days later, he was offered the part. Though the same day he also got offered a part to a Broadway play, which got him a Tony nomination.
His connection he had with Suits was someone who worked with the sound. His gentleman shared many stories with my “friend” about MM.
-What you see from shots from her and the cast members are for the cameras. She treated those who worked behind the cameras with rudeness. Like they were not worthy enough.
– During an interview she talked about how she stood up the director, producer, and a writer about her skin exposure on screen. Not true. She enjoyed it. Because of that they were going to fire her. Perfect time, that’s when she was getting closer to PH.
-She does wear hair extensions or/and a wig. For the reasons we all suspect.
-She threw a fit when she wasn’t invited to any award shows.
-She is a regular at SoHo in Malibu and Toronto.
-Any rumor that anyone may have heard about her is more than likely true. Such as being a “yacht girl”. There was rumored on the set she was pregnant.
-Just recently (two weeks or so) MM reached out to the producers of Suits. Whispers are that she wants to come back. Which makes me think she knows she’s screwed with the RF.
I’m sure I’m missing something. It was just a lot of information that someone gives you. Also, if my “friend” here’s anything else, he’ll let me know. Please let me know if you need any more clarification.

3. Someone (Meg) tried to buy off/payoff Jess with a Jaguar. A person from Jag said a 105K jag was given to Jess. Jess and Ben denied taking ownership of said car in social media rantings. But, Jaguar stands by it claim.
4. The Soho house connections are surfacing again. Someone according to CDAN is ready to rat her out. People are guessing Markus bc is a secret boyfriend of an A list actor who is married (Eddie Redmayne). Pic of Meg w Eddie at Soho are coming out again in DM. Eddie is apparently former roommates w Markus.

Short answer: hell yes, I think she is leaking (Page of Swords/Knight of Wands Rx/Star/QOC/Ace of Pentacles Rx/Queen of Pentacles Rx).
I think she leaked in the past because she was low on/losing money (Four of Pentacles Rx) and ignored the advice of the BRF on the private, low-key lifestyle of the previous BRF girlfriends (High Priestess Rx).
I think she has slowed down now on the leaking because she’s very very stressed right now (Nine of Swords). Most likely about the pregnancy (QOC/Sun) and how that’s going to work out health-wise.
She’s not leaking as much now because I think she feels guilty/remorseful a little bit in a way about leaking (Nine of Swords). She feels like she said a lot of regretful things and would take back some of the leaking she did, to be honest, knowing the effect it would have on her reputation and credibility in the firm now (Knight of Wands Rx/Sun/Six of Wands Rx).
I also think she got too big for her britches and thought she’d be able to continue to do the leaking she did longer and was rudely awakened by that not being the case (Strength Rx/Knight of Wands Rx/Judgement Rx). She is very restricted now and has to follow more guidelines and rules now, especially since she is pregnant (Knight of Wands Rx/QOC). She did this leaking initally as a way to rebel, same with the cookbook, her way of expressing herself and doing what she wants without being restricted.
I keep seeing this, she’s very very isolated in the BRF. She doesn’t really gel with anyone in the family and doesn’t have many friends. She also feels repressed (Strength Rx/Nine of Swords) because she doesn’t get to live the lifestyles she was living before as an actress (Sun) (traveling wherever whenever, wearing any type of chlothes she wanted to and wearing any designer brands without any criticism, being able to use social media and express herself with her blog and on her social media, etc;). So she’s not really in the mood of really wanting to leak anyway.
I think there has been some changes made (Death) that looks more down upon on “leaking” and all that mess (Ace of Swords Rx/Ace of Pentacles Rx/Seven of Pentacles Rx). Like she’s being more reprimanded lately over the leaking (Seven of Swords Rx/Judgemnt Rx) and has/will suffer some consquences for doing that. Guessing the seperate households was an example of consquences she’s facing because of that.
It’s not in her best interest to leak right now, to be honest (QOC/Judgement Rx). I think if she does leak, she has to look over her shoulder and do it (Five of Swords) because it’s not like she’d get backed up if she did it, the only support she has is Harry, no one else is backing her actions really.
I think she has some conflict with both Charles and William (KOC Rx/Death) because of the leaking and also how two-faced she is about it (Knight of Cups Rx). Like she’ll lie sometimes (Ace of Swords Rx) and say it’s not her when it is.
William feels like the leaking will eventually or is now starting to bring unnecessary attention to them (Knight of Cups Rx/Six of Wands Rx) and sees her as calculating and two-faced (Knight of Cups Rx). Charles doesn’t like it because the money’s not going to the firm and better-ment of the firm (Seven/Nine of Pentacles Rx) but for her own self and she’s using the “leaking” money to overspend more than she would with just the budget she’s given (Nine of Pentacles Rx) and it’s putting Charles in “debt” (even though their still fine finicially but you get what I mean).
I also think MM was doing this for a while and lying about it and got caught red-handed (Seven of Swords Rx) which is why she’s also hesistant to do it now then in the past on top of Willy and Charlie being against it.
I think she lied about doing this for a while y’all (Lovers Rx) specifically to Harry and would pretend she was innocent in all of this (Seven of Cups) and this is just the media “attacking” her but she was masterminding it (Magician/Star). Literally, Star card, is spilling the tea.
She was reckless and all over the place with how she did it (of course) and that’s why she got caught red-handed so easily (Knight of Wands Rx/HP Rx).
I also think she’s worried about something Samantha might say (QOC/Nine of Swords) and/or Thomas (KOC Rx) and how that would make Thomas feel and affect their relationship (Lovers Rx). Samantha or Thomas may be coming out with an unfavourable story about her or an unfavourable leak comes out about them that stresses Meghan and makes her feel really down (Nine of Swords/Strength Rx).
She’s trying to move on from this (Six of Swords) and fix all the strained relationships she has with others because of the leaking and press-gobbing she’s done (Ace of Cups). She’s also trying to focus on the pregnancy. But she is very anxious and still on the look-out for more bombs/negative articles and/or leaks to drop, out of consquences for her starting the leaking on her life in the first place (Nine of Wands/Two of Pentacles).

Charles will be king; he’s not some random stranger who wants to be king. The whole family is afraid of bad pr because of how much Megs leaks and runs to the press. She’s always having a new article sent to the American press. Celebitchy had twoposts this morning quoting articles about Megs from her leaks to American media. The girl doesn’t know when to shut up to the press.

“Why did the Sussex’s and Cambridge’s split households?”
They weren’t/aren’t getting along (Three of Cups Rx/Ace of Swords Rx).
I’m wondering what other screw tightening is going to happen behind the scenes with these two.
I think the Queen has got to be exasperated with them both at this point. And she has to invite them to Christmas too, even though she may not want to at this point. The Christmas walk to church at Sandringham will be a must watch!
I feel like I’ve always heard that she’s currently paying for her pr shenanigans by merching whatever freebies are given to her. Obviously I have no way to confirm if that’s true or not.
Just think about how bad she must be behind the scenes in ways we don’t know about. Harry & Megs haven’t even been married six months yet, and William wants to cut them out of his life professionally!
I agree that although Charles (and HM) are notoriously thrifty, there is no price too great to ultimately protect the monarchy itself. Charles knows that the moment the RF are seen as “just celebrities,” their whole reason for existence (and taxpayer funding) goes out the window. So it may cost him upfront, but it will be worth every penny in the long run to save the crown.
I also suspect that he knows that by paying more for the separation now, he could be saving a lot in the long run. The fame and money is her oxygen and as you’ve mentioned before, she won’t stay around long if she doesn’t have top billing and unlimited funds. She didn’t sign up to do lunches with the garden club in a 8 year old dress.
W&K will get the best staff, the more high profile events and goodies (as they should.) The kids will continue to slowly get more exposure. It’s amazing when I look back how much of this was already beginning to happen. We were all noticing and commenting on it but just not sure if it was part of a larger plan. I think now we can say for sure it was. The more serious, heavy events for Will; the regal (yet sturdy) wardrobe and accessories for Kate (including the RFO, and Queen Alexandra’s necklace); holding the Cambridge kids back at H&M’s wedding, the photo of H&M virtually shunned outside of E’s wedding…
It’s incredible to me how much this could possibly mirror Edward’s “separation.“ “Go ahead, go live your fabulous celebrity life, but you have to do it away from us." They may have allowed Harry to marry Meghan and given her the goodies to a point because they had no other choice (Harry played that R card very early with the statement) but they WILL not allow these two to sink the whole ship. This is the crown slowly lowering these two in a lifeboat, and eventually they will cut that rope.

Harry and Meghan want to be Brangelina and the brf has been through this before and they know how it ends. They’ll let Harry and Meghan do it, but they’ll make sure the main branch is protected.
I’m totally for this. William has been very clear that he did not want to be a celebrity, but Jason’s tabloid-friendly media strategy flirted with that status heavily (which is how they ended up with Meghan). I’m glad they are now backing away.
I think we’ll see even less “official” duties for Harry and Meghan after this tour. They will end up going full celeb.
Hi Plant, love your blog. You are so thoughtful and measured about all of the issues surrounding this poser. However, I have to respectfully disagree that the BRF bought into her at all, ever. I think they were NOT thinking with their nether regions, like Harry was, and they knew from the start that she’d be nothing but trouble. I have no evidence, of course, but I think they initially attempted to make her go away, either via a boatload of money or by just begging Harry to give it some time. However, they had to be careful because she’s Media Meg– they knew she would never hesitate to spill the tea on them. I’m sure lawyers were involved at some point, and I’m sure every move they make is designed to give Meg NOTHING to spill later. Hence the distance between H and M and all of the other family members. No access, no knowledge. That’s why she has seemed to get away with so much, and why she’s still doing it. She’d have something to spill if they tried to control her. She is a boil that will pop and disappear on its own, but they have to wait her out.
I’m more annoyed by the fact that the whole point of the speech was to announce that one of the Queen’s patronages was making new grants for female staff members. Somehow, Meghan managed to make it all about herself.
I don’t think it’s a coincidence. I don’t expect Harry and Megs to be at the Polish state visit in January. Meg’s bellycupping at the Fijian state dinner last night perfectly demonstrates that those two aren’t suitable to be at a British state banquet.

So patronages have been further postponed to new year now. Personally I don’t see a US tour for them, with focus on Commonwealth and Brexit, and trump and the debacle that they are doing in the ongoing tour, a US tour might literally cause an uproar.

We know Megs wants to go on tour to the US, but that’s because she’s expecting to do a tour in LA because William and Kate stopped there.

As Houseplant noted, Megs always gets worried when her dad starts talking to the press. Oh, to be a fly on the wall in Harry & Meg’s hotel room. Harry is carrying the heavy load of doing duties while Megs surfs the internet and chills away. Like, it’s the perfect resentment building activity to happen while they’re on tour.
I think they usually send out press releases to that effect. Harry and Meghan’s press releases are just different.
It appears to me that Meaghan is changing how the KP press officers that work for Harry and Meaghan perform their PR. PR for W&K is still typically work focused in a traditional royal manner. However, Meaghan and Harry’s PR seems to be taking a turn towards typical celebrity PR tricks.
Even Rhiannon Mills, Sky News’ royal correspondent, commented on Monday that the royals typically did not make such announcements before major events or tours in order to not detract from their work. In other words, the baby announcement on Monday was not normal for the BRF.
I know Megs ghosted Piers. I’m not sure she has one with Wendy.
I seem to recall reading something a year ago that Meghan had her resume sent to Wendy Williams’ show about having her on as a guest or something before she became known for dating Harry. Wendy wasn’t interested. I don’t remember it exactly. I’m sure someone else can bring up the details.

EXACTLY. That’s why I say every single event is biographical. Hamilton was about her Hollywood connections and her favorite play. Sussex about her American heritage and seeing a copy of the Declaration of Independence. The museum opening was about her upcoming tour. Grenfell was about her love of food and the important role it played in her life. Invictus is about their love story and her first public appearance. Her arrival in Australia turned into a pregnancy announcement. Dubbo was about her banana bread.
It’s truly amazing how she can make it all about her.
And she had the coat made weeks in advance! That’s the funniest part of it for me. She was picking clothes out in August and decided she would wear a fug couture tent to Eugenie’s wedding to stoke the rumors. She’s amazing.
Obviously not. I am, however, kind of awed by her ambition, daring, and immense self-centeredness. She met this guy, saw her chance, quit her job immediately, was engaged in like a year, spent millions of dollars of his dad’s money, was married a few months later, and is now pregnant and raiding his mom’s jewelry box.
