There’s been some articles floating around for some time now about Meghan’s taxes and possible mess regarding them so I want to see what’s happening with them right now and what the future may hold regarding them. Meghan’s finances are really all over the place (Two of Pentacles Rx) and a mess right now.
She went into this marriage (Lovers) with no plan (Two of Pentacles Rx) (are we shocked about that though)and expected to reimbursed with money/endorsement deals and thought her marriage was gonna be a better start/investment for her on the money front, but that turned out to be wrong (Ace of Pentacles Rx). She thought she could handle it all and make it work because Harry was gonna help her out a lot and these type of things would already be taken care of (Lovers/Two of Pentacles Rx) but she can’t really handle it.
She expected to be the star (Star Rx) and had a lot of hope and faith that this relationship would cover everything and took a leap of faith that this would work out with Harry (Star Rx/Lovers) and it’s like her dreams and wishes for that are falling apart (Star Rx). For some odd reason she really did feel like it was the right time to marry Harry and vice-versa (Lovers) which is crazy since they are suffering all the repercussions of being so hasty like that (Page of Swords Rx/Ten of Cups Rx).
She definitely has some contract(s) for money, probably secret endorsement deals or something like that to help make her some money (Ace of Pentacles Rx/Lovers). I’d say with an air sign person most likely (Lovers/Star Rx).
Her relationship as expected with the RF is rocky because of this mess (Ten of Cups Rx). They don’t like how she can’t stay in budget and stick with the plan (Two of Pentacles Rx) and how reckless she spends money. They also don’t like how much mess that have to clean up and deal with financially in the first place (Two of Pentacles Rx/Ten of Cups Rx). Meghan’s becoming more and more isolated and disconnected from the family because of all the drama she brings (Star Rx/Ten of Cups Rx). Her relationship is getting worse and worse with the family (Ten of Cups Rx).
It’s weird you guys.
She doesn’t like losing money (Ace of Pentacles Rx) because having to be on budget and wear more cheaper brands is making her feel more insecure (Star Rx). She feels like being attached to luxury brands (Lovers) and spending all that money gives her a star-like quality or power she craves and by doing this she is losing her fame/star-power (Star Rx). Like she craves spending all the much to feel like she belongs and she fits in (Lovers), like she’s the star and it makes her feel confident in her role as a duchess which she otherwise wouldn’t have (Star Rx).
She’s losing faith that this will work out for her (Star Rx/Ten of Cups Rx). She really wants to leave and just drop everything and have a new start but she literally can’t go anywhere (Eight of Cups Rx). Like she’s stuck with nowhere to turn.
She knows it’s the best option to walk away and drop it all and leave this sitution but she can’t go anywhere even though she wants to (Eight of Cups Rx) and it’s stressing her all the way out (Page of Swords Rx). The family is also losing faith that she will fix her inappropriate behavior and get back in line (Star Rx/Ten of Cups Rx).
She’s literally crying and up at night, pacing trying to figure how to deal with it (Page of Swords Rx/Three of Swords). She’s so hurt and feels like she’s losing the battle (Six of Wands Rx/Three of Swords/Star Rx).
I think Harry might have been in her ear (pre-wedding) and told her he would support her and take care of her (Lovers) and they would handle it together sort of thing (Two of Pentacles Rx) and that turned out sour and didn’t happen the way it was said to her before (Star Rx/Page of Swords Rx).
Harry and Meghan are having lots of arguments about it (Ten of Cups Rx/Page of Swords Rx). She feels hurt and lied to by Harry (Page of Swords Rx) because he told her all these things that everything would be alright and got her hopes up just for things to end up not panning out that way (Page of Swords Rx/Star Rx/Ten of Cups Rx). Harry feels like she’s putting material goals over the family and the pregnancy and doesn’t like that (Two of Pentacles Rx/Ten of Cups Rx).
She doesn’t like the fact that she’s being sat down and forced to deal with everything (Three of Swords).
What’s also getting to Meghan is the fact that the press is being so ruthless and all up in her business about it and there’s nothing she can do about it (Page of Swords Rx/Three of Swords/Eight of Cups Rx). Meghan’s anxious about what might possibly get revealed about her money situation due to how the press is about her life (Page of Swords Rx) and is also worried about how the family will react (Ten of Cups Rx).
She’s holding this heavy burden trying to fix these issues and wants this to pass and go away (Ten of Wands Rx). Meghan’s trying to convince herslef she can fight it but is losing hope that she can and is ready to give up (Ten of Wands Rx).
More bad articles to come out surrounding it though (Six of Wands Rx) butI don’t think it will stick for very long regarding press. Regarding finances short and long term, this will have an effect though.
She’s going to feel more insecure as a result of this and probably lose some battles and win some legally (Six of Wands Rx). Reality of the situation will start to hit soon (Six of Wands Rx).
Don’t know if she comes out all the way victorious in the end and I’mma stick to that (Six of Wands Rx).

I really see her being restricted, at least until the baby comes (Three of Wands Rx/Page of Wands Rx/Ace of Wands Rx). I think Meghan had some plans to travel and maybe even go on another tour before she gave birth but I don’t see that happening (Page of Wands Rx). Or at least plans are being re-considered right now if so.
It’s almost as if the lawyers and RF aides told her, “until this mess is sorted out, you ain’t going nowhere honey”. I know I’m making a joke out of it but I’m being serious. It’s like she’s been put on lockdown from going anywhere outside of the UK until this mess is cleared up (Page of Wands Rx/Three of Wands Rx – the travel and adventure cards). They have to be really strategic about where she travels now because it might bring them more financial issues/risks (Ace of Wands Rx).

The RF lawyers are trying to work out negotiations and peace settlements and work with the tax agency to fix these issues (Five of Swords Rx/Ten of Pentacles). But the RF is still holding resentment and hostility to her about the mess she created (Ace of Swords Rx/Five of Swords Rx).
There’s a lot that’s just unknown about her financial sitution and a lot of loopholes I’m guessing the lawyers didn’t expect to be sealed or opened, whichever one (Ace of Swords Rx). The IRS doesn’t really know much about the RF’s finances and this is a way they can possibly find out hidden corrupt money behavior which is why the RF are putting her on lockdown (Five of Swords Rx/Ace of Swords Rx). They want their finances to be as private as they always have been. The RF have also sent a warning to Meghan that if this continues to happen, there will be repercussions (Ace of Swords Rx/Five of Swords Rx/Ten of Pentacles).
Things are gonna get so messy and crazy (Eight of Wands Rx) that it’s gonna take a while for Meghan to come up with the money and earn profit back again (Page of Pentacles/Four of Swords Rx). Meghan has LOTS AND LOTS of unfinished business whether that’s endorsement deals or just contracts that she made probably with things like house loans and such that are making it harder for her to relax and not worry about how she is going to gain more money after being restricted due to the IRS peeping on them (Eight of Wands Rx/Four of Swords Rx/Page of Pentacles).
A 3rd party will probably have to intervene to provide some stability (Eight of Wands Rx/Page of Pentacles).
Meghan’s hoping this pregnancy will get them off her back (Page of Cups/Wheel). Again, hormones are making her a douchebag (QOW Rx) so the quicker this goes away the stabler Meghan will be.
She’s gonna get very demanding with the lawyers, sort of shouting at them like, “isn’t this your job, why haven’t you’ve been able to fix it” (QOW Rx/Page of Cups).
She’s hoping because she’s pregnant (Page of Cups) that they’ll (the press) be nicer to her and things will turn around into more postive coverage (Wheel).

Harry (KnoP Rx), is tired of also having to wait and be stuck all the time. He’s ready to go out and be active and do stuff (Four of Cups Rx). He’s tired of being held back and having all these restrictions and problems all the time (Chariot Rx/Two of Wands Rx). Harry gets depressed when he has to deal with all this mess and each scandal just adds more and more weight to his shoulders and brings him into a more deeper depression (Chariot Rx). He wants things to go back to old times, same as Meghan (Six of Cups), back in the summer where he could do whatever and wasn’t so restricted and controlled (Fool). He also wants things more focused on the pregnancy and not Meghan’s personal problems (Six of Cups/Fool).
Well maybe you should have thought about that before you guys got married so quickly, but what do I know..

I think she will get away with a lot of stuff still (Seven of Swords Rx). Like I mentioned before some wins and some losses (Six of Pentacles Rx). Seems like some money scam is done (Six of Pentacles Rx) that gets her out of too deep of hot water (Seven of Swords Rx). She will still get caught with something though (Seven of Swords Rx) and this process will cause her to have to come clean about the stuff she did and put everything on the table that she didn’t beforehand (Seven of Swords Rx). They’ll still end up not satisfied in the end because they’ll be in some sort of debt (Six of Pentacles Rx) and will have a hard time earning that monry they lost back (Hermit Rx). It’s almost like Harry holds out his hand gives the money and is just like “leave us alone now” (Hermit Rx/Six of Pentacles Rx).

Meh. I’ve never seen a decent article about her finances. I’ve seen speculative articles about her wealth that never took into account her costs such as agent fees, public relations, etc.
Outlets like the Daily Mail are publishing articles because it’s essentially click bait. The British Royal Family is in a different situation now because one of their members is still a US citizen and has to pay taxes to the US. Fleet Street can publish all sorts of theoretical musings by a number of tax authorities since income taxes in the US are a private affair.
I highly doubt there is any “message” happening in these articles. There really wasn’t much difference in the Daily Mail’s recent article than there was from articles published 6-8 months ago.
The thing is that no one knows exactly what Megs tax situation is. The Daily Mail posts a click-baity article on her tax situation and then people start assuming that she is avoiding paying taxes. No one knows if that is true. People are running with the assumption that merching = not paying taxes. And no one really knows if that is actually true or not. Megs may have been raised to believe that the IRS has more power than God, and perhaps she always pays her taxes due to that.
But instead we have articles that point out the new financial territory the BRF is in because Harry married her, and then people go apeshit assuming she’s going to go to jail for tax fraud and avoidance. Sorry. It’s just not true, and no one can prove otherwise.
I don’t understand why people assume that Meg’s merching equals not paying taxes. People really need to re-think why they have come to such conclusions. Merching and tax paying are not mutually exclusive concepts. She merched before she married Harry, yes, but that does not mean she didn’t pay her taxes.
Also, why are people assuming she’ll be audited? There are more than 300+ million people in the US. The IRS only has a certain number of employees, let alone auditors. Getting audited is statistically unlikely, particularly when you consider all the budget cuts the IRS has been subjected to recently.
Just because you commit tax fraud does not mean you will automatically get audited. I knew a guy who was his church’s webmaster for their website. You cannot declare a charitable donation for volunteering your time. Guess what he did? He claimed he “donated” webpages and used the value of each webpage as a charitable donation. He claimed thousands of dollars for “webpages” as a charitable donation for multiple years. It was all fraudulent. He did this for more than five years and was not audited. And he was never audited by the IRS as far as I know.
Just because you aren’t completely honest with the IRS, does not mean they are instantly going to come after you when they can’t verify the information. There is a very slim chance that Megs will be audited by the IRS. Even if she is, likely no one will ever know about it. As long as she is a member of the BRF, they will make sure she pays her taxes because they do not want to risk a headline that an HRH is not paying their share of taxes.
I know right. Stop playing with us Daily Mail..we want the bombshell! Lmao. But I do find it interesting there seems to be a negative story about her every other day now which is crazy. The tides are turning, folks.
Generally, Americans always have to file their taxes with the IRS as long as they are citizens. It doesn’t matter if you’re paying taxes to another country such as the UK.
In a recent podcast interview with David Axelrod, former NBA star Charles Barkley talks about how NBA legend Bill Russell persuaded Barkley to stop publicly complaining about how much income tax he paid (transcription by Steven Greenhouse).
Bill Russell called me one time… He says, “Charles Barkley.” I said, “Yes, sir, Mr. Russell.”
“You grew up in Alabama. Right?” I said, “Yes, sir.”
He says, “Did you go to public school?” I said, “Yes, sir.”
He says, “Did the cops ever come to your neighborhood?” I said, “Yes sir.”
He said, “Any of the houses ever on fire and the firemen come?” I said, “Yes, sir.”
He said, “I don’t want to see your black ass on TV complaining about your taxes anymore.” I says, “What do you mean?”
He says, “So now that you got money you don’t want to help other people out, but when you were poor, other people took care of you.” And I says, “You know what, Mr. Russell, you will never hear me complain about my taxes again.”
And it was a very interesting lesson for me, because I do think rich people should pay more taxes. I’m blessed to be one of them, and we should pay more in taxes. I learned my lesson. I never complain about taxes.
I think Bill Russell needs to make a few phone calls to Congress…
